I assume I'm in the minority but the actual wrestling matches don't really interest me that much. I'm more interested in the stories and characters that are told in the milieu of wrestling. Take the Omega-Page championship bout. It was a 25 min match. Most of the punching, kicking and flippy stuff wasn't that interesting, especially when I just watched 3.5 hours of other people doing the exact same thing. The story beats I got out of it was:

a) Hangman win the championship
b) Omega and Callis tried to cheat again to win the match
c) The Young Bucks showed solidarity with Hangman by not helping Omega
d) Hangman has given up alcohol and embraced the Dark Order
e) Omega's One Winged Angel has still not been kicked out of (though Omega did kick out of Hangman's OWA, not sure if that was a nod to the speculation)

Those things took up maybe 1 min total out of a 25 min match. The actual wrestling feels like filler to me and those story beats are the meat and potatoes of the match. The Dante Martin story they did during the pre-show was more interesting than most of the matches. Maybe I should give up wrestling as a hobby and just switch to regular soap operas then? LOL
