They said the women's title match is the main event, which is fine, but I would think you would have this match main-event the first hour. Wonder if there's some sort of shenanigans coming where this match doesn't actually start now.

Oh yeah, I just realized that Punk popping back up in AEW revives my long-held dream that one day he could turn heel and then cut a promo telling the fans how ****ing stupid they are because the lyrics of his entrance theme explicitly tell them that he's always been a heel.

Punk never fails on the stick. That said, the build - such as it is - to Friday's match is nothing engaging, and it's clear that the draw of the match is "CM Punk is wrestling again." Given that, that was a very fine attempt to pretend that it's more than that.
