I mean, wrestling crowds being super annoying is a thing that is never ever going away, and me bitching about how annoying they are is only going away if I stop watching. I suppose that's the price I pay for being on board with the crowds burning everything down to get Danielson his WWE Title win back in 2014.
I'd be open to being convinced since I'm not knowledgeable of the company product, but at first blush I totally disagree that Punk should turn heel right now. I like Christian Cage, but if he's the babyface world title challenger at a big PPV then the company is short on top babyface talent, and Punk is the most over babyface in the company.
A time will come for Punk to have another heel run since he's awesome at it, but I think it would be too cute by half to turn him right now. Seems like it gets you to one of two results: (1) the turn works, you can actually get the crowd to hate him, and in doing that you're killing one of the biggest sources of excitement/momentum they have right now; or (2) the turn fails, a bunch of the crowd refuses to accept it, and you end up with some weird mixed crowd that doesn't serve anyone well.
Anyway, I loved the tag match and the Punk-Darby match. And I liked the women's battle royal a lot too. That, as well as the Danielson appearance (even without Final Countdown), is plenty for me to consider the whole thing to be a good/really good show.
