for me, mjf/pg punk was by far the best 2 person promo of the year. im not sure what you guys were watching, but punk held his own, and had some brutal comebacks. mjf is hands down the best right now though, but it was at least a contest.

His insistence that MJF was angry that Punk didn't mention him in random interviews was pretty lol. Anybody really care about that? That's a huge miss for me. "Needle dick"? Back to elementary school insults? Not saying it was all bad from Punk because I enjoyed a lot of it but those misses give the W to MJF and dragged his promo down for me.

Promo's a 10/10 for me. Punk had some misses, but some great lines as well, 8/10. MJF was a 12/10, so there you go.

Finally watched Dynamite, good stuff. Main event was a fun spot fest. This "new season/chapter" feeling is great, lots of seeds being planted.

This show has been a blast so far. MJF antics up the wazoo.

Downloaded Rampage just to see Hook. Wasn't disappointed. Kid has potential.

OK Hangman/Danielson was as good if not better than both of their respective matches with Omega. Instant classic. I wasn't a huge fan of the build and the quick turn of Danielson but the match delivered.

That **** ****ing rocked.

Rampage also knocked it out of the park. Last couple weeks have been killer.

The fact that Hook is THIS over is pretty surprising. It almost feels like it happened by accident. I sorta thought he was just a bit, like everyone was in on the fact that he was just eye candy and not actually a wrestler in the making.

I think AEW needs to be careful with him, because they are booking him at an outrageous level right now. It already appears beyond the initial, 'build a guy up by squashing no names booking'.

For those that didn't watch, not only did Hook go over a guy 2x the size of him, he completely no sold the guys finisher and then finished him off right after.

Are they really gonna just give him another jobber after that? Seems like they are gonna push him into a big feud too fast when he should be continuing to develop as a character/being protected.

He no sold the guy's piledriver because HOOK is Taz's son, and wrestling powers are obviously genetic.




I'm loving it. Completely insane how over he is. "Send Hook!" was a meme forever, and then he suddenly debuted and just ****ing OOZES cool and performs like a real assassin. He's like the bizarro Orange Cassidy.

Ha, cool. Didn't know that history. Alright I'm on board.

That's another part of it that's so fun too. Can't imagine how it feels for Taz to commentate his own son's matches. You can hear him glowing with pride.

Women’s street fight on Rampage was absolutely brutal. What a match.
