I can't find the proper words to describe how much cooler LU Pentagon is than other promotion Pentagon

He brought out the new title belt. Given that his mere appearance probably puts him back on Vince's blacklist for a time, I would assume that he got a nice chunk of change to make a pretty minor appearance.

Alright, if they refuse to fix the superman kickouts, they can at least fix the reactions of the wrestler who gets kicked out on, right? The totally unbelievable feigned shock is so bad.

NFL cornerback executes perfect coverage. Receiver makes a completely insane catch anyway. Corner never EVER holds his head and keeps his jaw dropped for 10+ seconds. Take a ****ing cue from how pro athletes actually react to things.

I see AEW is just like those ROH shows that had the American NJPW

Yep. Really not a fan of this spot heavy style with no storytelling.

That was an AEW match, and at the end of it my hate for NXT had grown by a factor of 10.

**** every single person who would so much as fix their lips to call it a great match.

Unfortunately, even though I'm rooting hard for AEW in the abstract, I think this is probably the last attempt I make at an AEW PPV for the foreseeable future. Rather than trying to improve upon Vince's industry-breaking problems, they're doubling down on them. And they're doing so without apology or shame.

Why do you think they called the event Double or Nothing?

Yeah it does feel like another TNA type attempt at doing Vince's formula rather than breaking that formula.

Exactly how I feel.

I'm tired and that tag match put me off of this whole event. Shutting it off now.

If people tell me that this final match is good, maybe I'll go back and watch it tomorrow.

After so much time being stuck with WWE, it's refreshing to see a show end with Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho in the ring.

So they set up their new main event of Dean Ambrose vs Chris Jericho. CHANGE THE WORLD

Can't believe I'm saying this but the only part of the show I really enjoyed was Cody vs Dustin and that was the one match I was originally dreading. I thought All In was a much better show overall. Jericho vs Hangman feuding for the title while Omega vs Ambrose doesn't give me much to look forward to either. I wish them well but I'm not really feeling it so far.

This isn't some new federation to change things. Its just an indy promotion backed by a lot of money. That was no different than watching ROH really. It's a shame because a lot of their ideas they pitched sounded good (notably the wins/losses mattering, more sports like feel, and backstage stuff like not considering talent as independent contractors/getting benefits). Don't see this turning any heads that TNA didn't back in the day.

This sums it up perfectly. I only caught the last three matches but what this show was was every single PWG show I've ever seen but with a worse main event. The only difference is that it had Jericho and Ambrose. And that's fine, I loved PWG when it was great in the early 2010's but it's gonna need a lot more to entice people who don't already watch wrestling.

WCW had a NWO PPV once, they didn't make another one. That's pretty much what AEW is--if the NWO had their own wrestling company.

TNA had okay ratings early on in their lifespan, I doubt this hit anything other than well smarks.

Surprised the bucks still kept the AAA belts, nobody in mexico gives a **** about the bucks.

JR sucks, I said it.
