I think this will be fun despite seemingly predictable outcomes for most of the matches. Smackdown has built everything well except for the dumpster fire tag team match and the Ziggler/Crews stuff.

Big night for the women's division, which is carrying more of a WWE card than I think I've ever seen before.

Lol, and I thought I was being lazy by not even bothering to find out when it starts.

BTW, when does it start?

holy **** they showed a AJ Styles WWF audition from 2001, man he looked so generic/bad back then lol (this show is probably going to be more entertaining then the PPV)

3 decently built up women's matches, but they are going to HAVE to do something to differentiate them or its gonna suck. Fired up for the Elimination Chamber even though the winner seems obvious.

Tag match is suck but might be fun, the Ziggler match is lame (who makes the heel face overwhelming odds? Seriously?) and the Orton/Harper match should be good, they seem to work well together.

AJ in ROH in 2002 :fap: :fap: :fap: but yes, generic af. Matches with Bryan are legendary.

He almost considered taking the developmental deal at the time, but didn't as A. he felt he wasn't ready yet and B. his wife was in college or something and he had a secondary job that he was not going to give up yet, gotta pay them bills somehow while pursuing the path of being a professional wrestler (which starts off being poor and taking bookings with little pay to support yourself). Or at least, that's what I read.

AJ was contracted to WCW (had a few TV matches before they folded) and WWE declined to pick him up. Was pretty much a top TNA guy from the start in 2002. A shame that it seemed every time they gave him the main belt, they immediately ripped it a way in favor of a more recognizable name whenever they signed a new TV deal.

was watching some old elim chambers, and man it's funny seeing some of the guys in the chamber who didn't belong (Dibiase, R-Truth, Morrison, etc). Feel like Corbin fits in with that group for tonight, but we'll see

I'm actually looking forward to this card. There isn't actually a match that I'm completely meh about. Multi-team tag matches can have pretty cool high spots and I'm looking forward to seeing what Dolph does to advance his heel persona. The other matches have all had good builds and they should at least keep it interesting.

BTW - Orton vs Luke Harper is on the pre-show? Or am I mistaken?

I'm not a huge Corbin fan (yet), but he is already well above any of those 3.

Why is there a handicap match against a heel? Do Kalisto and Crews equal one face.

agreed, just feel like years after when we look back/watch, he'll be in the same boat of "why is he in this match"

Just a guess. One of the two faces, possibly Crews, turns on the other face.

Perhaps, but I don't see WWE stopping his push anytime soon. So he'll probably have at least another couple title fights (outside of the chamber) before he either makes it or they stop his push. None of those guys really were close to the title at any other point from what I remember.

Hard to imagine they'd put it on the pre-show. Especially since the Wyatt angle is possibly the biggest angle on Smackdown right now.

I thought she was hilarious on the preshow. I'm a mark for the Carmellsworth pairing though.

Guy next to her is some douchey radio host or something from what I've gathered.

James Ellsworth. I believe he was brought in as a jobber for Stroman but then fought AJ a few times as well and kind of got over in a similar fashion to Gillberg. Now he has pretty much outstayed his welcome and guess they are trying to find ways to use him.
