First eliminated usually gets paid, along with most eliminations and longest lasting I think.

Edit - here are last year's payouts according to the spreadsheet:

First Out: 25
Most Elims: 25
Longest Run: 25
Runner-up: 50
Winner: 175

Right but im saying theres 5x more jobbers in the wwe than guys theyd actually try to book strong in this thing. Adding shortest time gives hope to all the poor souls who draw michael cole, jay uso, santino, etc. There are going to be far more of those than guys who draw ryback or cena.

Also, I think adding $25 for a random late spot like 6th place in the Royal Rumble would be a better addition than shortest run. It could be a wide range of wrestlers and I think provides a better sweat then hoping your guy comes in the ring and gets meat-hooked over the top immediately by Ryback.

I dunno. When your number comes up and your entrant is pure AIDS, at least you get hope of a payout this way. The sixth place finisher is more likely to be someone who had an actual chance to win (not always obviously, but I do think that's more likely).

Assuming we're just talking about one or the other, I like shortest run better as a consolation prize.

paying 6 spots is really diluting the payouts imo.

personally, 4 is as many as i want to go, but 5 is acceptable imo.

so if you want to do winner, runner up, first out, shortest time and most eliminations, i like it.

Agree with dnky.

I'm also a fan of gimmick payouts. Paying out random spots other than 1st just wouldn't be as exciting for me personally.

I'd vote for winner, longest time, shortest time and most eliminations. Pretty sure longest time got paid out last year. 4 payouts is perfect in my opinion.

How to break up the pools:

I want there to be actual money in each pool. Therefore, the least people in each poll will be 15. At 15 each, there would $150 prize pool to be split, and each entry would have 2 of the 30 rumblers.

Right now we have 32 entries, counting posters who INed for multiple entries.

I don't want to boot posters who sign up late just because of people who signed up for multiple pools.

Therefore, if we get to a point where there is an overage in entries, I will rand all the multi entry posters and eliminate from that list.

Likely going to be 2 or 3 pools when all is said and done.

As of now, I think going with the winner, longest time, shortest time, and one other payout would be best.

Longest time has a very good shot at being most eliminations, just based on length in match.

Perhaps a last place payout for first eliminated? Would make the early entries have something to root for.
