I'm taking my nephew to this, so here's hoping for a hot crowd and some exciting matches. Here's the card:

The Shield vs. Usos. The Shield are a lock to retain here.

Y2J vs. Ryback. I think Jericho puts him over, since Ryback has yet to book a significant PPV win. Otherwise, Ryback will be in mid-card purgatory for the foreseeable future.

Will probably hit the bathroom and top off on beer and nachos. AJ retains.

Axel has the chance to have the first meaningful IC reign in awhile, so I expect him to retain. Miz winning would constitute just the latest example of the IC belt spinning its wheels.

Hard to call here, especially with an all-heel cast of competitors. WWE goes with Ambrose if they want to go "all in" with the Shield. Otherwise, I think Cesaro might get the Zeb bump that Jack Swagger enjoyed prior to WM last year. Cody Rhodes would be a good choice, but that assumes the WWE is actually serious about pushing him.

Mah Boi Dee Bry to a thunderous Philly pop FTW.

I see a Ziggler win via DQ or count-out that solidifies his babyface transition and leads to the blowoff match at Summer Slam, where I expect DZ to emerge victorious. Unless WWE abruptly decides to kill his push after this match.

I'll use my pro-wrestling "one time!" for a Mark Henry win. With Daniel Bryan poised to main-event Summer Slam, however, the WSM walking away with the belt is highly improbable. I hope, hope, Creative considers letting MH win, hold the belt for a month (lifetime achievement award), and then drop it at SS in a triple threat match with John Cena and Daniel Bryan. The most likely scenario is that John Cena gets killed for 20 minutes only to RISE AGAINST THE ODDS to deliver an AA against Mark Henry to retain. Because that's what he does.

Cesaro and Ambrose seem like good value. Surprised they're that high on Orton.

Sounds about right for the Blue one but I don't think they'll mess up the Red one.

I thought of the exact same thing. Orton winning with a heel turn/cash in would be OK I guess. Philly will pop regardless.

Assuming Ziggler winning but not getting the belt counts, 5/1 seems pretty insane to me.

Fun Fact: Ryback has not won a PPV match since MITB 2012, when he beat Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks in a handicap match.

Since then...

*Not involved in Summerslam
*Not involved in Night of Champions
*Lost to CM Punk at Hell in a Cell (Brad Maddox match)
*Lost to CM Punk at Survivor Series (triple threat with Cena, The Shield debuts)
*Lost to The Shield at TLC (6-man with Kane/Daniel Bryan)
*Lost at the Royal Rumble despite drawing #30
*Lost to The Shield at Elimination Chamber (6-man with Cena/Sheamus)
*Lost to Mark Henry at WrestleMania
*Drawed (drew?) with John Cena at Extreme Rules (Last Man Standing)
*Lost to John Cena at Payback (3 Stages of Hell)

Wow, didn't realize it was that bad. I think he'll beat Jericho (seriously, why does Jericho need to win any more?), but if he doesn't, he's moving into a mid-card monster JTTS like ala Great Khali and pre-awesome Mark Henry.

Cena wins by AAing Henry through the ring.

1/50 on Shield. What is max you can bet? Whatever that is, do the max, then use that free money to freeroll another bet.

Looks like we may have spoiled this match for ourselves. Just like when all the betting sites started making Jack Swagger the fave when we thought he had 0 chance at elimination chamber.

Just like when ADR was like 1/17 to win last month on some sites. when this thread would have piled on zig i think.

Anyone want to do some kind of pool. Randomize picks for the two mitb's? like 5$-10$ for the sweat?

****, it is going to be Orton, isn't it. But if he cashes, turns heel, and finishes with a head punt, that would be OK.

I'm really interested in the SD MITB match. IMO it's by far the most unpredictable match on the card, pulling for Ambrose obviously. Also curious if we get any Lesnar, Vince/Steph/HHH, or Wyatt Family segment tonight.

Orton has been out of main title picture for a long time. and has been putting people over. im not his biggest hater in this forum but anything that makes him relevant again has to be good. briefcase plus punting please.

Its bizarre how betting sites just know what we don't, i would have had orton as equally unlikely as cristian and sheamus (why are either of them in this and not the smackdown one, especially sheamus).

Guess they can tell from the amount of $ wwe creative pile on when they know results lol.

I think in future, we should make rule to not post betting odds. Even if in a spoiler it starts the discussion.

+1 to being intrigued by the smackdown one, sandow makes sense to be the fave given the sheamus program.

Ambrose with the U.S. title and the briefcase would be sick.

I thought Miz with the MITB and the US title didn't work. him tapping to bryan before going for cena was weak.

plus who can he lose to to drop the us title without looking weak as ****. The miz or barrett?
