I'm taking my nephew to this, so here's hoping for a hot crowd and some exciting matches. Here's the card:
The Shield vs. Usos. The Shield are a lock to retain here.
Y2J vs. Ryback. I think Jericho puts him over, since Ryback has yet to book a significant PPV win. Otherwise, Ryback will be in mid-card purgatory for the foreseeable future.
Will probably hit the bathroom and top off on beer and nachos. AJ retains.
Axel has the chance to have the first meaningful IC reign in awhile, so I expect him to retain. Miz winning would constitute just the latest example of the IC belt spinning its wheels.
Hard to call here, especially with an all-heel cast of competitors. WWE goes with Ambrose if they want to go "all in" with the Shield. Otherwise, I think Cesaro might get the Zeb bump that Jack Swagger enjoyed prior to WM last year. Cody Rhodes would be a good choice, but that assumes the WWE is actually serious about pushing him.
Mah Boi Dee Bry to a thunderous Philly pop FTW.
I see a Ziggler win via DQ or count-out that solidifies his babyface transition and leads to the blowoff match at Summer Slam, where I expect DZ to emerge victorious. Unless WWE abruptly decides to kill his push after this match.
I'll use my pro-wrestling "one time!" for a Mark Henry win. With Daniel Bryan poised to main-event Summer Slam, however, the WSM walking away with the belt is highly improbable. I hope,
hope, Creative considers letting MH win, hold the belt for a month (lifetime achievement award), and then drop it at SS in a triple threat match with John Cena and Daniel Bryan. The most likely scenario is that John Cena gets killed for 20 minutes only to RISE AGAINST THE ODDS to deliver an AA against Mark Henry to retain. Because that's what he does.
