Punk/Lesnar would be sick. How would they even start that, though? Heyman turning on Punk?

Punk comes out tonight, blames Heyman for costing him the match last night, gets him up in the GTS .... Bork's music starts.

So, how does that work? Punk is face turning?

Cos, I just cant see face Heyman after the last ~6 months, esp the last couple weeks as he was cutting on everyone.

Btw, worth noting, I wanted Shield to win last night through Brock interfering but it turns out they just let them go over clean on three of the biggest faces in the company with the two who werent pinned arguably "the top two guys" in terms of draw and marketing value! That is still amazing to me.

Was a really well booked match too, just like their first (and so far only other) match in the company.

Orton, Edge, RVD, Punk, Wade Barrett, Miz and ADR have all been elevated to top-tier status at one time or another through these feuds, and he's even made guys like Lashley, Umaga and Khali into passable stop-gaps while others were unavailable.

Yes, he's booked to never lose and that's terrible, and his actual acting when it comes to trying to look like he's in pain is usually terrible too, but it's laughable to accuse him of not putting people over. Let's not forget that many people in the business often say that wins and losses mean nothing. The guy hasn't had the title in over a year. He's not even remotely close to the same league as HHH in that respect, and it's equally stupid to expect him to object to himself being booked to win matches. He's not at the top of the company because he politicked his way there, he's there because he does what he's told and he does it well.
So obviously some exaggeration on my part to compare to Hunter, but at least you have gone with the exaggeration route as well saying he has lost clean many times. I think we have a different definition of clean.

The fact that those guys were elevated to top-tier status due to feuding with Cena is NOT because Cena put them over in most cases. It's because putting an up-and-comer in a feud with Cena at all instantly elevates them.

I like to believe a large part of that is them doing incredibly well themselves in a feud that actually gets some attention so yeah it is feuding with Cena but also shining through with some skills when it counts.

Except for when he then drops 50 chairs on them and sends them to smackdown, where they are never heard from again.

lol Jack Swagger getting over in the EC match. Zero crowd reaction for the guy was awesome.

Doubt ADR/Swagger will be a singles match

Biggest issue with Swagger winning is that they're trying to get ADR and Swagger over at the same time by going against each other. Use people who are already over to get them over. I don't see how that match will ever get a big crowd reaction in NY.
