(I'm not gonna stop anyone from posting "Jon Jones will be remain the champion" but maybe try to not post ONLY LDO picks to keep it fun)

By Jan 1st 2013, i predict:

- Daniel Cormier will be the UFC hw champion beating JDS to win the title.

- Jon Jones will fight twice and beat Evans + Hendo. He will be ready to defend for the third time in early 2013 against Alexander Gustafsson.

- Anderson Silva will NOT fight Chael during 2012 despite him being the clear #1 contender for the whole year. He will fight and clown Michael Bisping tho and spend a large part of the year "injured".

- Rashad Evans will drop to middleweight. Maia to welterweight.

- Chris Leben will NOT get caught with illegal substances in his system. He will NOT get arrested. He will not DUI.

- Nate Diaz will be the LW champ beating Ben Henderson for the strap.

- Edgar will beat Aldo for the FW belt.

- Couture will fight Fedor and win.

- GSP will be reinjured/delayed. Rory Macdonald will be the interim champ.

- Lesnar will announce his comeback to fight Frank Mir.

- BJ Penn will beat Pettis and Gilbert Melendez via Marinovich physique and be ready to fight Nate Diaz for the title in the first quarter of 2013.

- Nogueira, Tito, Carwin, Henderson, Wanderlei, Sherk will all announce their retirements.

not much i disagree with there, except maybe 3 fights for jones (3-0), neg on corimer though JDS will lose the belt, and silva WILL fight sonnen and WILL lose

Diaz will beat Condit but lose the title to a wrestler not named GSP.

Melendez will fight and beat Edgar.

Jake Shields will get cut from the UFC.

Chael Sonnen drops down to welterweight and beats GSP to become UFC's biggest star and #1 PPV draw

Anderson Silva does the impossible by moving to LH and beating Bones Jones in superfight

2012 will be huge years for the Diaz brothers as they legitamely become UFC superstars

Daniel Cormier becomes huge UFC star in 2012

Jake Shields fights Jon Fitch in 2013's most boring match of the year and both get cut by UFC

i retract fedor retiring. he will fight a bunch of nobodies and be functionally retired.

Edgar will lose his belt

* GSP returns and defends his title but the UFC is in a tough spot because Rory MacDonald is now the clear #1 contender. They agree to fight despite being training partners.

* Edgar defends his belt against Bendo but loses it to Diaz.

* Reem beats JDS and defends through 2012.

* Jones continues to duck Rashad. If they do face each other Rashad pulls out the upset.

* Fedor and Couture fight.

* Showtime contract has Melendez on lock down and he does not fight in the UFC.

* Cormier is exposed and loses his first fight in the UFC. In the process of shedding some lard in preparation for a move to 205.

* Silva and Sonnen meet. This time Silva wins handily.
