CM Punk wins WWE championship at MitB and leaves the WWE

For the first time in a long time an angle that had us feeling excitement and curiosity heading into the match wasn't met with disappointment. Heading into MitB we were all hoping to see what would happen if Punk won, but knowing how possible SuperCena.jpg as a result was. It met all those expectations and then exceeded them. Yes, the end result may not have gone as we hoped. Yes Punk may have returned too soon. Yes Mr Haitches interjecting himself into the Summerfest rematch was pointless. Yes the dueling titles was ridiculous. But that isn't what we should focus on.



Instead think back to that feeling you had as you watched CM Punk sitting on the bannister blowing a kiss to Vince as he ran out of Chicago with the WWE championship. Think back to that feeling of seeing the twitter pictures of Punk at Wrigley or the Belt in his fridge. Think back to the anticipation of what the hell was going to happen next; How can the WWE cope without a title, how is life without Cena going to be, are they going to end the brand extension and use one World Title for the foreseeable future?

It was that one 24 hour period (end of Mitb-start of Raw) where we were able to suspend disbelief, revert back to a younger time, and just enjoy being a mark again.

Christian Loses the WHC after 2 days

Christian was in the WWE for about a decade before he finally won the World Heavyweight Championship. Ten years.













Then 48 hours later, Christian made the biggest mistake one could make when wrestling: Jumping off something randomly towards Randy Orton. What followed was the biggest Wut Da Hail moment of 2011:







Let me take this time to say that I dont care that it lead to awesome heel Christian. I still say **** THAT ****.

The Shoot

The spark to the highpoint of the Wrestling year, CM Punk's worked shoot garnered mainstream attention for the business for the first time in a long time. It's too epic for me to describe, so just watch it again and recall for yourself.
