And where / how exactly would you want to enforce that?

Rooms actually limiting the number of tables a player can play at because they're a winner is a new thing (or at least I've never seen it before) and was implemented at Microgaming.

Shark / Fish & Win / Loss ratios exist on the majority of networks in some form or another and have existed on the iPoker network for a couple of years now. About a year ago the policy did become a little more aggressive, but this was probably fair enough.

I think it's fair to say that a number of high raking players will leave iPoker in the short - mid term if iPoker2 is properly implemented. This will of course mean a loss of revenue for a number of affiliates.

The hope is that the network becomes more sustainable and a more enjoyable place to play in the long term.

So it's definitely not a home run, I wish it was! It is the best thing for poker though.

They did nothing with the bots issue and I am sure the bots will stay on the network as usual (I remember one of the biggest sites that will stay on Ipoker2 that was offering deals to bot programmers).
Claiming that it will make network more sustainable and more enjoyable is utterly bull****.
If they do want it they would just do something with the bot issue (which they never even tried).
Seriously human regs are maybe 20% of the regs there given the amount of tables bots play and number of hours. There is an elephant in the room (the whole network being bot friendly which makes it almost unplayable) but instead they ignore "the elephant" and just focus on money grab.

It is businees as usual bigger skins want to get better share of the rake so they will **** smaller skins in order to get. Plain simple.

I've had a look at the new iPoker policy which forbids card rooms to offer incentives for playing on private cash game tables and whihc also forbids marketerring the upgrade to upper VIP levels yet Bet365 offer specific bonuses for playing on their premium tables and BetFred (at least) are trying to attract customers by offering to upgrade them immediately to VIP level 7.

If card rooms are not even going to adhere to these basic rules I doubt very much that they will stick to offering rake back capped at 30%.

The only thing Ipoker has to offer over Pokerstars is better rakeback deals without huge volume needed. Without this why would anyone play on their 2nd rate software.

Definitely agree with this! You get Supernova Elite %'s without having to spend all year playing to get there and raking almost $200,000!

Don't expect iPoker to ever do something in benefit of us regular Players, how long since the last update and all the bugs with the new auto posting systems. How many blinds do we lose daily by autoposting bugs?

Nothing seems to be done about this, probably too busy trying to resolve speed poker bugs. If a business is run like this, it can never last. Expanding their offerings with new products like speed poker, when the old products aren't even solid and working properly is just a complete joke. Ipoker is only focussed on making money for themselves, at the cost of the customer, sure every business is focussed on making money but the ones that focus on the benefits of the customers usually tend to have a longer life-span.

I don't expect iPoker to be around for a very long time.
