I only wish them luck if they're going to be the easier player to get the chips off of later.

I don't wish the all-in luck when I'm in the hand, but otherwise I essentially always do it. It feels like a courtesy to me.

When a person asks 3 times "a flush beats a straight? I didn't know that.." and he was dead serious.

Absolutely this.

Yeah, I'm down with wishing the all-ins good luck. Jonathan Little says you're basically telling the other guy, "I hope you lose", but the way I see it, it just feels like a harmless, good juju kind of thing to say since we ourselves want some luck when we're all-in.

Instead of good luck I say, "may the luckier person win," even if I'm over a 90% favourite.

Players who buy in with $40 at a 1/2 game and flat a $12 raise pf only to check/fold 3 times in a row and wonders where their stack went

I always say it in tournaments. I never say it in a cash game.

lol at the completing SB with trash argument

I'm glad people still think like that

Talking about their hands aloud during every street post-flop after folding pre. Very tilting.
08-27-2012 , 08:29 PM
Ok I think I have a good one !

The guy who sais "$45 into a $7 pot ?!?!?!" implying that the only other worse player at the table is doing something stupid !

This happened last night and I thought to myself "I see this kind of **** a lot, I know a place I can vent !!"

Another one is the "flashy folder". He has to show someone the pocket 10s he is folding on the K 7 8 board before he mucks and often exposes (unintentionally) to people still in the hand. I feel such fuming anger inside I just pray for a 10 OTT or for one villain to show 9 10 and the other guy show 89 at showdown. Wow feel better now.

Things horrible players do: lose money to me. Because I am terrible. But "horrible" is one degree of badness worse than "terrible".

True story from last night at Aria's nightly mtt.....

I'm in the 7 hole and kid on my right wont stop talking about the most mundane **** for 2 1/2 hours....I tried to go along with it and be nice because I get tilted very easily by schmucks that either ask "is it on me" or " hollywood" on simple decisions, or in this case talk too ****ing much.
anyway, I heard him mention he lives here in LV so I asked him if he was gonna play on Southpoints new site next month....

after going back and forth on why he wouldnt play there, He mentions 2p2, so I pounce on him with questions about if hes a reg or a lurker ,,,He fires off that hes a MOD, ! I immediately ask which subforum and what his SN is....

He clams up and says he's not allowed to tell anyone what forum mod he is and that He shouldnt have mentioned it and within 5 seconds he starts talking up someone on the other end of the table....

To be honest this type of **** usually doesnt bother me but his attitude towards the other players and willingness to try and make floor calls while he's not even involved in particular hands , made me very angry and instead of trying to grind my stack out I jammed it in a 3way AIPF and lost.....(aqoff)

point is, I hate liars and know it alls. especially one that think they can play.

Re: people asking to always see the river.

One game I play at has implied a new rule in an attempt to cut down on people always rabbit hunting. Basically in order to ask to rabbit hunt, you must show your hand, which most people won't. And it gives 0 chance to rabbit hunt to the people that folded pre. Somebody has started asking to see burn cards because of this.

"It's a random card, just like the river, and they can't stop me from asking since its not rabbit hunting"

No one has a right to see the burn card. That's incredibly dumb logic. I hope whoever runs your game doesn't put up with this nonsense.

^^ I can never comprehend what can be going on in their heads when I see plays like this. This doesn't even have anything to do with being a good poker player; it's just basic intelligence.

I like to pay attention to the way people tip the dealers. Lots of bad players dont tip dealers ever
