I feel with the broad language of the legislation that passed regarding online gambling, too many people feel that playing poker online is illegal despite it being legal. This is leading to a decline, also, on top of all the other opinions mentioned. However, here in Vegas even casinos like Circus Circus and a couple other not-so-well-known for poker casino have tables open still from midnight-7am times, with a good amount of players on them, along with the major poker rooms in town having many tables open, as well.

The ambiguous wording has thrown some people off for sure. Once it starts clearing up, people will begin to come back to poker again. It just needs that special moment again, but it can't and won't happen the same way it did with Moneymaker and such. It will have to be done in a different way, obviously. Hopefully Ultimate Poker will start reliving some fears, allowing for players and operators to venture back into the market.
