I was there a few months back. The hilton is just Limit Holdem I think 10/20 crowns. I put my name down for PLO but only one other player was interested.

V Juicy though with loads of super whale businessmen.

The NLHE games in the casinos around Wencelas square are okay for a laugh

Very juicy? This is $0.50/$1.00 (USD). Did you forget an order or magnitude (or two)?

I'll be in Prague next week myself but I don't think I'll have time for poker.

I have tried to find this out on the internet several times. Seems you have to just go to the casinos yourself and see what is running. The only time I played live here was 25/50Kc, 20k max buyin next to Wenceslas sq, and the game was def v good. I remember reading that 50/100Kc runs somewhere but no clue where.

I dunno, played in Prague just a couple of times including Hilton, they had NL500 euro equivalent (no cap for buy-in amount) and a limit table. Smoking is allowed at the tables and it's full of the swearing russian tards. Also poker tables are close to all the roullete and blacjack and whatever, so you hear constant screaming.
Atmoshpere is just horrible.

Plenty of very affordable hotels all over. Games are in legit casinos so I'm assuming security not much of an issue.

Yeah...players are very fishy, but it's pretty dingy compared to American rooms. Two rooms right around Wenceslas Square that were okay, though...one on the square near the lower end, and the other one around the corner (forget the name of the street...I think it's Narodni, but it's the part where it's foot traffic only).
