I have a quick ruling question and don't know where to put it, so here it is.
1/2 nl. Dealer somehow only gives BB one card. BB spends about 3 seconds looking under the rail for his card before telling the dealer. By this time, someone has already limped.
Ruling is that BB's hand is dead because he didn't notify the dealer fast enough and there was already action once he did. BB has to muck his card and surrender his bb.
Generally, it takes more than one person acting before "substantial action" is considered to have occurred. I can't remember off hand, but isn't the action of 3 players generally required?
If I was ruling here, I would return the limper's money, and have the dealer re-deal.
You might ask the mods to make this a fresh thread. Not really low-content, IMHO, and you'll get more/better responses that way.
