Well you may have been able to watch it on stream at the time of your post .. You can also order various media formats and have it sent out in the mail.

I believe the Senate has already gone through this process once but it finds a way to get buried in the legislative process. Same as the new rules for Charity Poker. These were 'passed' overwhelmingly by both House and Senate and have now been buried in the Regulatory Committee which has to make sure that this new law doesn't violate any other laws before it goes to the Governor ... who really doesn't want to sign it! Really doesn't matter. State based internet poker is so awful it's basically the same as not having it. I was playing 6+ hours a day on Black Friday and I'm shocked we are still in the position we are all these years later. Americas card room sucks, Bovada sucks, they all do. Anything short of pokerstars exactly how it was 5 years ago is a total failure. I assume if you are a cash player these small little BS sites are fine. But if you are (were) a tournament player or SNG player, the state based casinos are lol.

They have something in there where they can share the player pool with other states that have online gambling so that opens things up a little.

MCC had 30 person lists for 1/2 and 2/5 at midnight tonight. Had about 5 games going in the slot machine area when I got moved into the main room around 130am. I can't even imagine how crazy it is during peak hours. I'm glad I'm a midnighter.

Anyone been to greektown this week when little Caesar arena opened? Curious how parking is downtown in the structure and if they make you pay even if you're just going to the casino to gamble.

I haven't, but even when they're charging for parking you can get in for free if you have enough points on your card, or they'll give you a voucher.

Greektown is even further away from LCA than Ford/Comerica, but I can see that it could attract some free loaders that may want to hit up Five Guys on their way to the arenas. I don't think they did much enforcement during Wings games at JLA so starting it up for an arena further away would seem odd. Things change.

I would be more worried about MCC and MGM ramps going forward ... Something like you get play/food credits if you bring your ticket into the casino. Do you make people pay on the way in or the way out? Both stink with probably 'on the way in' being the worse of the two options. Perhaps you pay less if you flash your casino card at time of payment. GL

PS .. MCC BBJ is at $835K as of this morning ...

I may be inquiring if MCC will allow me to wear a gas mask. That BBJ money would be so sweet.

I assume that Greektown will be getting new chips too along with the name change.

You'd probably need a Doctor's order and a copy of the ADA to get the casino to wear one. But if you do, I'd try it too. I can't play there because of how bad it is. By clothes stink and I feel like a smoked a half a pack myself when I leave.

Anyone know if Firekeepers is changing the structure next month back to how it was for their Sunday $400? Seems that changed the structure to accommodate the high turnout and it became a hyper turbo relatively quickly.

Lets get through the MSPT first TB9 ... I will be spending more time there in October so I will inquire. The MSPT being a 2-day event carries a much better structure of course.

They need to decide if they want more players or a longer running event. There was a much bigger percentage of re-entries in the last event, but I'm not sure it would be a deterrent if they stopped allowing the re-entry option. GL

Thank you. I mentally blocked out the MSPT because I'm busy and can't play in it. Good luck to those that are playing. Let me know if I you can

I see a 2-5 RxR NLHE/PLO running at MCC. Is this a new thing? What kind of action is it seeing?

Jetfeul,

I played in the 2-5 RxR on Thursday night and it was a good time. I believe Max buy in was same as NL 2-5 at $800. People were reloading frequently and it was not uncommon to see 2-3 players at the table with over $2k stacks. The Omaha rounds got a lot more action and bigger pots than the NL. What killed the game around 10:30 pm was the start of a new table 5-10
PLO (3-4 players left the table at the same
Time and the game died down).
I would definitely do it again since you still have a shot at the Bad Beat jackpot during the NL rounds.

Pretty sure the 2-5 RxR was the Tuesday 'game of the day' for awhile, perhaps they brought it back for Thursdays? Could be they just had and interest list that took off as well.

With the BBJ where it is .. 882K .. some of the PLO guys may be trying to bait some NL players into a PLO game. I've heard that some of the PLO is down since some of the regs are playing NL until BBJ hits. GL

What would be the best poker room to visit in detroit? Motor City, Greek town, Or MGM? I heard Motor City has a big bad beat going on right now but curious if these rooms are separated from the rest of smoking in the casino? If not what room has the least smoke?

Thanks for your help!

Greektown has the least smoke. Fewest number of players too.

MGM has some more, but it's a bit better. Good action and a decent number of players.

MCC has by far the most smoke, and the most players. But your tables are going to be hit or miss with the gigantic BBJ. Some will be nit-fests.

Also, if you come into town and play for 6 hours and hit the BBJ, **** you.

Greektown and MGM are on Bravo to see what's going on. You don't really need to worry about that with MCC as they always have tables going. I think MGM has some free food in their new room but MCC has some food (vultures abound) and free drinks all the time.

I'm not bothered by smoke too much but MCC has by far the most. GL
