nope. i'm the worst at blackjack. i can't add to 21 very well. or at least my cards dont. last time i played, the only two blackjacks i got, i pushed both.

sup everyone, whats been going down at gwc lately? they hit the jackpot twice within a couple hours last saturday. so gross, i was sitting in that charity tournament benefiting cancer research a good friend of mine organizes every year at the gwc , and then boom they hit the big one twice within 90 min of each other. LOL

Played in 3/5 last night. Ran $500 to $800 then back to $600

We had a few monster stacks, $1k-$1.6k stacks. A lot of people were stuck.

I raised 8

on the BTN, flop 3310ss, won a $350+ pot

board, I bet, bet, c/f river.

flop around 60bbs effective.

was there not too long ago. i guess 2/4 hit 4s and Qs. the big news was about shorty, im sure most of the nighttime regs know who he is. guess dude got robbed and shot twicein the head, hes stable though at kmc.

anyways im gonna go play friday afternoon til about 6, probably 2/2 unless the AM nit crowd leaves 3/5 and gets replaced by other players.

also room share was 480 i believe.

they're thinking about it wrong. if they used $1 chips and allowed a bigger buy in, the pots would appear bigger and the game would seem more fun (when people are pulling in a lot of chips in each pot).

where i play normally, there is a $1/1nl $20-40 buy in game that is for pure beginners. with all of GW's experimenting with different games (2/3, 2/4, etc.), it seems like they should establish a smaller game and then change the 2/2nl game to $80 - $200 buy in.

chili i remember them actually trying out a 1/2 game like that but it never ran. Max BI was 40 or 60 i believe. Had to have been 1 to 1 1/2 years ago.

when are gonna be back in town? starting in June im gonna be going regularly again, be nice to have one less 2p2 at the table since it seems axiom made his move to 3/5 as well.

saw Axiom sitting with ~$800 in seat 2 in the 3-5 game tonight. Horrible game though, probably 2.2-2.5k on the table altogether. LOL at having to seat to the left of the most horrible nittiest weak/passive donk Mr BBQ aka "chucky".

They hit the jackpot early Sunday morning as well, 2:00 am or so... Re: 2-2 game, I have said since I began playing there that playing the 2-2NL game with blue chips and a 100bb buy-in structure would make it a much better game exactly for the reasons that chili described.

On a side note, the 2-2 game is so incredibly soft on Fri-Sat nights that I am thinking about just giving up on playing Thurs night and any at all on Sunday and just focusing on Fri-Sat night...

If you play Thurs-Sun night, I will be on one of the 2-2 tables, usually have a cubs hat on of some sort (Have a rotation of about 5 different ones that I wear when I play and one of them has my 2+2 avatar on it) and at least one ear bud in maybe 2 depending on the chatter on the table, come by and say hi if you'd like.
