I would agree you should stay at Harrah's when you're not staying at Borgata, mostly because it is close to Borgata.

The game quality across the city has really deteriorated though. Borgata no longer seems to spread mid-limit games during the week; just 1/2 and 2/5 NL and 2/4 LHE. Harrah's will have a bunch of 1/2 games during the week, but they are awful games, with most of the regs just folding until they can collect their food voucher and rakeback. But you can play at Borgata during the day and Harrah's at night.

Ballys does have a 10/20 OE game during the day, so if that's what you want to play, that might argue in favor of Caesars.

Room booked at Harrah's comps. Only non smoking room was a Marina room. No water front or Bay view open. They said they would put a note saying I requested waterfront but I'm not sure I buy that. Was also told Marina was better than harbor? 20$ trick still normal here?

I kept checking the website and a waterfront tower opened up. So an easy phone call got me moved. I could care less but the wife wants some kind of a view

Also, any suggestions for a anniversary dinner? Upper end steak house? Is Mort's the way to go?

Is there anywhere I can stay close to ac but for much cheaper? Seeing cheapest places are 50-60 a night during week for summer (late June).

Sick promo at the Golden Nugget coming up in June.

It's an hours competition leader board for the month of June. Cash game player with the most hours played in the month of June will win 2k in cash plus a free entry into their 10k guaranteed tourney they run on the last Saturday of the month. 2nd place in hours played gets 1k in cash plus a tournament entry, and so on and so forth. Top 20 players in hours get cash money. It's only a 10 table room so you have a nice shot at this thing.

Check bravo for details. Should be a good one. In addition to the leaderboard, they have high hand 12-12, 2x comps on Tues and Friday, 3x comps on Wednesday, Splash pot every day 11-7pm and 12am-2am. Free Buffet after 3 hours of play, which can also be used as a $15 food voucher.

Hey any advice on Atlantic City. Any semi cheap spots I should check out for food? Like say 10-30 meal and I'm going on vacation alone so prolly not too formal sit down. Advice on strip clubs, places to check out in ac etc?

Also any info on daily tournies. Are there any good daily tournies with a semi decent structure for a daily? The only structures I've seen so far are borgata and they all seem good for dailies there.

I'm playing the deepstacks series for whole week and may try to hit a few other casinos for daily events.

Best cash game action? I play 1-2 and I'm just looking for softest game and time to play. I would again assume this will be borgata and on weekend nights. Thanks for any advice!

Finally any good breakfast spots on the boardwalk?

Stay away from the boardwalk. Nothing good on that side of town. Golden Nuggets dailys are good structure and guaranteed. Borgata and Harrahs has the softest low stake cash games. Cheap food? Got me

The poker rooms are all pretty good for 1-2 action. Just check Bravo to see how many games are going on, and where.

Lots of places for good, but inexpensive, food. Breakfast on the boardwalk - try either Johnny Rockets or Billy's. Both have good food at low prices. Cafe Bucca is also good, but pricier.

I mean it's pretty hard to mess up chili fries, milkshakes, and hot dogs/burgers.

What do you have against Johnny Rocket's? Breakfast of meat (bacon, ham, sausage, or Taylor Ham) 2 eggs, toast, potato - under $6.00. Seems like a really good deal to me, especially for a casino in A.C.

Insider tip: They charge 2-1 on comps, but if you charge it to your room (must be staying at Bally's) then when you pay the bill the comps are 1-1.

Would this be considered an a-hole-ish move on my part?

I've gotten some free rooms at Harrah's recently and I want to go play again next weekend. No rooms are available. They are however offering me a free room at ceasers on the total rewards site. Since its the same owners is it cool if I stay at one and give all my play to the other? Or is that a violation of rules? I wouldn't gamble a dollar at ceasers.

From my perspective, who cares if you stay at one and play at the other. However, I have heard that the casinos do care. Wish I had a more definitive answer for you.

So I heard that TEN/Revel was expected to open today 6/15 but it doesn't seem likely given that they still haven't gotten their license finalized. Anyone got an idea how close they are to operating?

Why would someone recommend Johnny Rocket's for someone coming to ac and looking for quality food? Send him to Olive Garden as well. I think there is a TGI Fridays on Atlantic Avenue. Terrific food there.

What do I have against the specific dish at Johnny Rocket's? Nothing. I have an issue with someone looking for food recs who isn't familiar with the city and the suggestion being to go to a chain burger joint in the ****tiest casino in the city.

Play wherever you want the perks. You want rooms at harrahs, play at harrahs. Weekends are super tough at any CET property to begin with
