Ace and Six are both straight cards for 245, them being out weakens what is already a weak hi-side. The other hands, A78 and 678 can develop into straight draws with "bricks" like Nines and Tens, and having an Ace ith means we can catch an Ace and be showing no pair, no straight, but still have a scooping hand with a redraw.

Yes absolutely you can raise a gutter low draw there.

right yeah i'm just thinking a dead A/6 also weakens 678/A78 itself as well some.

but yeah i'd certainly be feeling it more with the 245

You have to raise 3rd and 4th in hand 1, because the T completed last to act. There is a good chance he is stealing with a weak holding and you need to put pressure on him.

Hand 1 with your stack you can mix between raise and call, especially depending on perceived range and whether or not your opponent overfolds later streets. Your hand always plays easier and your implied odds are usually good. This also depends on how well you navigate through later streets and if you overfold

Typically in a tournament there is no problem with erring on the cautious side and letting your hand develop.

4th is def time to raise

5,6,7th are all good.

Hand 2:

Open third, check call 4th for the reasons I posted in your other thread about 4th streets. We dont mind reducing variance and him checking back if he decides to

5th is really interesting spot in tournaments. Auto bet in cash but a xxllh vs one pair hand can consider reducing variance in these spots at times. In this situation with the 3 totally live and potentially a pair that might fold a bet can be the preferred route. Weight out your stack options and ICM considerations and couple it with dead cards, board textures and what you know about your opponent.

6th bet and check are close in these spots. The more connected someone is, the more live their straight cards are that could complete a scooping hand, and the more dead the cards they catch are, the better checking is. If theres a higher chance of them pairing and their straight completing card relative to the cards they caught are dead the more you can consider a bet. Keeping with my theme, tournaments tend to dictate erring on the side of caution especially as stacks become more shallow

7th is good

When someone open completes last to act, there is a good chance he is stealing. The T usually has something, but usually not a pair of tens or higher. So I would put pressure with a good low draw, and try to get him to fold his steals, which have good equity against our hand if they get to showdown. Particularly, I would put pressure against a complete from the 2nd worst door card.
