Stud8 confused by opponent's line

Hey guys,
I've got another Stud8 tourney hand to review. Really trying to work on my fixed limit tournament skills, especially in the stud variants.

I probably should've saved the bet on 5th street but the check on 4th from jimbob216 made me think he might've paired his 4 and would maybe fold to my Ace. Is it correct to call the raise here and see 6th? Not sure what to make of it. What type of range should I put him on with a raise on 5th and check on 6th? Rough made low, two pair, pair of 4s with low draw trying to get a free card on 6th? All thoughts welcome.

Also, any chance a bet on 7th would get a fold from opponent?

Thanks

To me it looks like a flush draw that bricked 6th.

You shouldn't have bet 5th. 7th, that's just the end of the hand for you. Don't try anything fancy.

True, but he may have had a made 87 low as well, which makes it a bad idea for hero to try to bluff the river. Villain's river bet suggests he improved, maybe even improved both ways.

Questionable whether you should play on 3rd at all, given it's a razz hand

Other than that, check/fold 5th and everything else seems fine

At first I was going to disagree with the bolded because the door cards looked like it was a reasonable steal spot, but then I noticed that the antes & bring in weren't even one small bet.

Now I think it's a fold on 3rd.

Not sure why a made low would check back 6th after hero caught bad.
Agree that the move on 7th is c/f.

If villain had a FD with a made 87, when his raise on 5th is called and they both brick 6th, hero's low board is scary enough that villain knows he's not going away for one bet, so he decides to take the free card.

Agree, check/call fifth, and keep the other opponent in the hand. Let the other guy bet, though it is hard to pinpoint what opponent has, at least for me. It's not that great a hand on 3rd, but steal worthy w/ three king's showing. Your high potential is basically **** though, and you can't rely on the others to fold their razz hands, so this is frequently you getting scooped, and it's a naked steal. Your seven, and five are dead, and you're drawing to a pair of two's, or a lucky two-pair, and that's it It's worth it though because three king's are showing, and the other two low cards just need to catch bad one time on 4th, or have a brick in the hole.

But hero can't have a made low yet, so villain should be betting made lows for value - especially with a flush draw to back up the high end.
Hero could in fact not have a low draw at all if he paired on the ace (not unreasonable considering hero completed on third). If this is the case then villain has a freeroll if he's already made his low.
