Guys, I realize a lot of the discussion on this forum is pretty high level. I'll preface this hand by saying. While I'm not new to poker, I'm new to stud. My hand reading sucks, my knowledge of equities is still in the infantile stages.
My thoughts at the time
3rd = I raise.
4th = I may be behind the 22 but I think that's pretty unlikely. I'm new, but it seems like the paired door card always bets out and it doesn't mean much. I consider a raise but I don't think I have any chance of getting this pot HU with 22 with the player behind me catching an A (or any low card for that matter)
5th = With my hand looking like a low draw with an open pair of AA I think I can still count on 225 to bet. Now I'm wishing he has 222 (I'm not at the level where my wishing changes things, but I still try). I am just pushing what I think is a decent equity edge.
6th = I bet thinking CO is on a low draw more often then not. I have not seen this guy get out of line and seems to be playing a pure value game. I have seen him raise for a free showdown and whatnot but nothing crazy. He really lets me off the hook here by not jamming me in. I call because I still don't know when to fold in limit games and I'm drawing to a lot, and is possible I'm still playing for the whole pot
7th = I think over calling would be too optimistic.
