I don't really think you will learn much from Stud, at least advanced strategy from watching a one hour video, because in Stud there are a huge panoply of hands you can get and the same hand be played in different ways according to many factors.

I recommend you to read the SCSFAP to understand those factors. If you don't like to read just take a good look at the Questions and Answers chapter, after that you will have an idea.

I think optimally you would do both, read and watch videos.
