Stud HUD? - Page 6 - Stud Poker - Stud Poker Strategy Forum

Hi Rusty, and thanks so much for creating a studhud. It would be awsome if I could get this to work but when I run it, the overlay won't appear and no tables pop up in the window for me to right -click. I know that it is linking up with my PT because I can get the graph to work! I can watch the graph update while I am playing, I can make the "update player statistics" feature work ,but no HUD overlay. My comp is 4 years old with an AMD processor, and also has a dual monitor setup so maybe thats messing things up ? Or have I overlooked something?

Nope, they released a PT3-mac version but I already have Poker CoPilot which works great for Holdem in Mac.

Yeah there is a "main" window but no tables listed - it's totally blank. But there are no "error messages" either. And other features like the "graph window" are operational. I am on West coast/ Pacific time.

HELP///with lots of Rustys help i got the hud up..showing tables..etc..but

1) its covered in green screen.

2)also its missing the data points that every one else is getting with this config basic setup...

3)The log file is showing some kind of error printing out in red.

Rusty thinks may be missing some kind of library load ,,,but i know hes pretty busy...anyone have any ideas...heres some screen shots... TY in advance

I can see the problem... there's a SQL error and I think that's preventing it from continuing. I haven't used it with access in quite some time so I think I'll need to try that.

It looks like it's not handling your language very gracefully... try putting the program somewhere like c:\poker\
(a directory with no cyrillic or special characters)
and see if that helps.

I can not specify a path, because program does not open. The first thing that appears when Clicking a setup file - plates, which are depicted in my first post!

There is no setup file, poker-win32 IS the hud. So put that file in c:\poker\ and run it from there.

So to begin it seems like you're putting a stud database into the holdem fields. But also it seems like that database is not... correct. That error is because it's trying to find something in the database you've entered, that isn't there (the players table, which is a list of all the players in your db)

Is a possible in the statistic show the stats, like 3bet, cap, check\raise and others?

The available stats are somewhat limited, yes. I am adding some as I have time, not sure when that'll be available.

Rusty: My HUD works fine, except for three things:

(1) I can only get "session" stats on other players, not "normal" stats that include their lifetime stats from my pokertracker. If I graph them from the HUD, I can get all the stats.

(2) None of the color codings work --- All boxes are white

(3) I don't get any agression stat, just an empty box

Thoughts?

The normal stats take some time to get populated, there's a minimum number of hands requirement before they get done. I believe it's 10. I don't remember if the version of the HUD I have on the site still includes the "Filter Door/#" checkbox, but if it does, you should uncheck it, because that stuff no longer works due to FTP updates, that could be the problem.

Likewise, if you have "Calculate door-dependent stats" checked in the HUD config, uncheck that, because it's now useless.

AF is blank in session mode I think, because there's not enough information stored in the PT sessions table to estimate it.

Ok, Rusty. If you are do that, I'm want to see this stats: 3bet\cap(3th street and all), check\reise, steal, fold bring-in to steal.
