Stud HUD? Stud HUD?

I have recently moved across to FT and so would love to be able to use this software. However, I'm a bit lost when the instructions go beyond fold/call/raise.

I have got this far in terms of getting the program on my machine.

I just don't have a clue what to put in any of the boxes or where to find the stuff on my machine (if that is needed). I do have pokertracker (Omaha, stud and holdem v 2) but just have the database whatever they give me and don't know how to find the name.

Anyway, any instructions in really baby steps (without jargon) would be appreciated.

So the database that pokertracker uses by default is "Access". On the left of that window, next to where it says "Holdem" or "Stud" or "Omaha" there's a selection box, change it to "Access" and the other options will change to "File" and then give you a "select file" button.

Use "Select file"

Browse to where you have installed the related pokertracker (each pokertracker will be installed in a different directory, like c:\Program Files\Poker Tracker Stud\)

The pokertracker databases are usually named something like "ptrack1.mdb" in that directory. If you've created more they might be "ptrack2.mdb" etc or have different names if you've renamed them. You can find the name of the file by going to File->Maintain Database names. For access databases, the file name is in the last column of that display.

Hope that helps! PM me if you need any details.

Yeah. I don't have HEM so I'm not even sure what it would take to get this working with it.

Does your app work on Vista? I get wrong # args: extra words after "else" clause in "if" command when trying to add the PTS Access database.

Is there a special way to do it?

Thanks for all the work and replies!!

There may be a bug, I made some changes recently for someone, I might have screwed something up. I'll check shortly.

I can make a mac version, but what's the point - there's no pokertracker that runs on a mac, right?

Hey Rusty, just want to say you are a dead set champ for doing all this. Did you get a chance to look at the iPoker issue again? Thank you.

A program called Poker Copilot does...that probably doesn't help though...

Hmm, I can't remember. Have you tried the most recent 0.31 version? I may have fixed it and uploaded the changes and forgot to tell you?

Is there any way for me to play ipoker, even for play money, from the US?

Thanks Rusty, the fix helped get the config working.
Any chance you will be able to get the Dead Card overlay working on PS?

Someday, maybe. Meanwhile I'm pretty sure it's totally busted on FTP now, due to the updates.

Center-click on the stats and it will shows the player's name. If they are in the wrong spots, click the >> button on the upper left and press the + or - buttons to rotate the stats around so that they're where they should be.

Also note that in the HUD config tab you can give a list of your poker screen names, and also say where you usually like to sit, and if it's set up properly it should auto-center on you once it recognizes that you're at the table. This should work fine on PS and FTP, haven't tried it in other sites.

IINM, Rusty's seat numbering system isn't...conventional. By that I mean the first seat to the left of the dealer being Seat 1 and clockwise from there. So there may be some trial and error in getting it to autocenter correctly.
