almost always a good game going except maybe first thing some mornings.

Perhaps I've played with lstream. I played quite a bit in the 20/40 game in the past few months tho less lately due to the nice weather.

It can be a pretty swingy game as you'll see lots of multiway pots. I prefer that, it's more fun.

There are multiple horrendous players, a few average ones, and a handful of good ones. There's really only 2 or 3 people I would prefer not to see at the table in that room. Maybe 5.

Just to illustrate what you are dealing with in this game. Four way action. Guy to my right, hits open aces on fifth. But aces are dead. I have trip tens with pocket tens. Aces bet, I raise. Guy to my left with a straight draw calls. As does another villain who clearly has kings and queens which are both live.

On sixth, guy to my right now has open jacks and aces, but jacks are dead too. He checks. I bet. Guy with the draw calls. The guy with the kings and queens who called two cold on fifth FOLDS!! For one bet in a massive pot. My trip tens have very little chance of filling due to a dead board. Guy with aces and jacks folds too.

My trip tens held up. One of the other players at the table is absolutely incredulous with that fold. The folder then goes into all kinds of contorted logic on why folding made him some kind of star. I was hugely relieved with that fold and couldn't believe it. There was no convincing that guy who made the fold that it was a stupid play, in spite of how much the other regular tried to convince him. I kept quiet, hoping the conversation would just die, for fear of wising the folder up. But not to worry, as he just didn't get it. And he is a regular, and no where near the bottom of the barrel on how bad some of the players are.

The top half dozen or so solid regulars, must make a killing in that game.

State of 7 card stud at Foxwoods:

Several daily 1/5 and 1/3 games
5/10 most days
20/40 several games daily, you can pretty much walk in and find a 20/40 seat 24/7 ( incredible action )
75/150 almost daily
150/300 occasionally

I have been playing at Foxwoods regularly since it opened in 1992, over the years games and stakes have changed, but 7 card stud remained very solid unlike other venues like AC and Commerce.
If you enjoy the game you owe it to yourself to come and play there.

How often does 20/40 OE run? And is the 150/300 Mix always OE as it says on Poker Atlas or does it ever change? Lastly, why no 40/80 or any stake between 20/40 and 75/150?

20/40 OE goes occasionally, in fact we played it yesterday.

The 150/300 mix consists mostly of Badugi, 2-7, limit Omaha8 as core games, and any other games maybe added depending on players.

Back in the 90's and early 2000's 40/80 stud was strong and spread daily, then players started to split, some went higher and some dropped in stakes until the field became really thin and the remaining players struggled (myself included) to sustain the game until it was finally dead.

never has and never will

Seems like you are always trying to find games that have no chance of ever running ever in a public room

Occasionally some rooms may hold NL Horse tourneys. Other than that your only chance is to start a home game
