Hello-

Sorry for no hand converter. I tried all options and couldnt get it to work. If someone has tips for Carbon conversions please let me know.

Looking for a line check in a stud8 tourney hand. Thoughts on all streets welcome. Should I have bet 5th street once peyton12 checks 4th street and assume he paired the 4? Is 5th a fold once I check and high board bets out?

Thanks

Fold fifth there is zippo in the pot and you have a pair of 6s against a 9J7 board

Thanks for the reply, it is greatly appreciated. I'm getting my feet wet in stud8 and have already learned a couple hard lessons by calling big bets into small pots.

Any chance a lead on 4th street would be effective against two opponents or is check the right play?

Thanks.

if they both caught relative bricks sure it could work. but not in this case.

a 4 only helps the vast majority of a 3xx's range. J doesn't really change too much for something like split 9's but it's not like it's a bad card. i.e. it's not like it's a 3 that hit a J and will be maximally ready to fold.

also if it's a 400 GTD you have a lot of guys who are new and don't really know what a bad card is or when they should fold. so your FE is pretty much zero here.

Easy fold on 5th in a cash game, even easier in tournament where you have only a bit more than 4 big bets.

I'm certainly not a stud 8 expert but isn't this a fold pre flop?
Seems like a two card low hand and a two card flush draw. I'd muck it. Is that too tight?

OP is the bring-in. Low door card, he's forced to bet 3rd.

Clearly I should stop reading the forum before having coffee.

Leading 4th some of the time. Gotta find a fold here on 5th.

But sometimes when you don't you just make a full house, ez game.

5th is a clear fold. Hand has scooped written all over it. Didn't read the rest.
