These can be easy folds if there's action in front from a bigger door (including aces) and easy raises if it folds to you last to act. It's the in betweens that I wonder about.

In general, I never play split 99-JJ, will limp them late with a low card up, may raise them with an A door.

QQ-KK if they are highest door and are live, will raise in middle position on if no aces are behind. Will fold to a raise from an ace (or k if i hold qq).

If it gets heads up, I generally bet 4th and tend to keep betting unless opponent hits a straightish low board or an ace. If it's multiway to fifth, I'd tend to be passive and possibly call for half pot or just fold and be done.

Curious how others play these big (ish) pairs.
