I would raise 6th to see if the T will fold and try for a free showdown.

looks like you need to see what is going to beat you and hope for the best

Cap fourth. I like Chips' idea for sixth. Apart from that, I ain't beat until he shows me his hand.

seat seven aint folding he has a flush draw and or a low draw. you are just building a bigger pot that you dont want at this point. plus even if he goes out which is certainly great for you in case you catch a pair you may get the high you arent getting a free card as you will be first to bet on the river. and then its you who are giving up the free bet.
this is the stuff that makes or saves you the money and contributes so much to your bottom line. you need to be thinking of these things all the way thru the hand.

If seat 7 is on a flush draw with that many spades out on third, bless him. On fourth through sixth, I can't get my money in fast enough. And the river is cold-dead-fingers territory.

By now I should know better to make 'good' laydowns in large pots at this level. I folded because I read Seat 7 as having a made hand (why else is he betting into both of us on 5th and 7th?) and Seat 3 with a 6 low or better. Seat 7 played his hand completely backwards and had but trip Tens. Seat 3 scooped with an 8-high straight so my low would've been good.

yeah a straight 8 is def. a possibility on the river so that's why you can't fold...

Seat 3's raise is pretty bad imo since he loses to any other made low hand, and if Seat 3 had half a brain, should have something that beats a straight. Maybe he put Seat 3 on a backdoored low. So yeah it worked in getting me to fold but I play bad too.

in stud games when you call on sixth you usually call on the river unhless you missed making anything. in cases like this there are too many possibilities for your hand to be good. you cant lay it down on the river
