baseline strat wise, whats the difference between the two? usually spread is 1-5 but what adjustments do you make between fixed and spread?

I've literally never played a hand of spread limit in my life, but it would seem to me that the most obvious adjustment you can make is to play a few more speculative drawing hands in late position/spots where you can likely get in for the minimum

In my experience, those games are really loose and it isn't uncommon to have a 4 or 5 way showdown. When you raise, raise the maximum - it makes those old ladies crazy. Jamming should help to thin the field, but don't be surprised when they stick around. Be prepared to get sucked out on with moonshot draws.

Low limit spread games are unbeatable due to the rake.

if you dont have to ante 1-5 is definitely beatable.

any small spread limit stud you should just be max betting every chance you get. 1-5 2-10 type spreads
