Yeah, and it could happen any day. I posted in their forums asking about PT3-Stud status, and they said its still planned, but no timeframe when work would begin on it.

Rusty, have not heard you mention this in awhile, I'd love to check it out. Any status updates?

I believe I was one of the early adopters of your HUD for PT-Stud (or it seemed that way from the handful of people in the PT forums who asked for my assistance in getting it working). It always worked very well for me. I would not mind purchasing or donating if you create the Stud tracker program, your HUD was helpful enough to give back.

Ugh, I have so little time recently. Let me see what I can do. My PT replacement is actually pretty much just like my HUD except that it also does the backend. There are some rudimentary tools to import data from PTS/PTH/PTO also. If people are interested PM me, and through the process of helping you guys get it set up I can probably find enough of the problems with it to package it up and put it somewhere.

Is there any way to get PokerTracker stud? Obv its unsupported after May 1, but it seems to still beat anything else out there. But I go to the website and its not even for sale any longer.

I agree with the making it open source comment. Having to rely on.. gasp!.. FPDB really sucks.

Hi all, I am new at this forum and the main reason I’ve registered is that I can discuss about stud poker with you.

First of all excuse my English. I played occasionally stud at the past but the last few months it’s my basic game. I’ve bought and read books that helped my game and I was searching for a program such as poker tracker but I saw the bad news here.

Have you any suggestions about a similar program which is as good as PT? Is there any other way to study my hands without a program?

Thanks…

Hey Sakost welcome to the forum. The only alternative to PT Stud is FPDB which a previous poster mentioned. There is a thread about it somewhere on 2+2 but from what I hear it is a bit complicated. Another way to "study" hands would be to post some here that are giving you trouble or discuss hands with ppl that know the game better than you do.

Thx for your quick answer... As I mentioned before, excuse my English, so what's FPDB?

You can use Universal Replayer to check back over your hands.

I have written a tracker which supports Pokerstars and Fulltilt. Works with all games (haven't done much testing with Full Tilts new draw games though).

No hud yet

Will release it as opensource in the near future once I get some time

Sad to hear about PTS

Sounds good....

I'm currently a SnG player, does your tracker give me an overview to show my record against my opponents?

Either played x won y ?

or Green $XXX or Red $YYY ?

No SNG yet. Since I only wrote this for myself last year and I only play cash games it wasn't a priority.

But if I get the time I might start a thread asking for peoples ideas like that.

I was foolish and wrote it in C#
When I re-write it I will do it in Java and make it open source. Stuck in the middle of assignments at the moment though so don't have a heap of time...

But I was using PTStud as well since you cannot load past hands in Stud Indicator, and it doesn't allow you to replay hands/essentially does not have a database to look through. It only tracks hands when it's open/active. But it will remember stats on your opponents for each game played.

The screenshot is one table of Stud Hi one table of Stud8, it works on FTP and PStars and reportedly, Party..
So is it supposed to be retaining stats in between sessions? I just started with it and it dropped me and the opponents back to zero.

Yes. Are you playing the same game? Also check your HUD filter, you could have it set for "session" stats.

Thank you, I just found the "History Stats Filter" which fixed it, mostly. I set both tables to ALL but each table has a different history for me
