Hi,

Pretty new to Razz and just wanted to check my thinking on this hand.

PokerStars, Razz Limit - $0.10/$0.20 ($0.02 ante) - 8 players

Third Street: ($0.16) Hero (CanBanditPS) is in Seat 5
Xx Xx Qx P1 bring-in $0.04____justfives folds
Xx Xx Ax P2 folds
3x 4x 2x CanBanditPS raises to $0.10____CanBanditPS calls $0.10
Xx Xx 6x villain raises to $0.20
Xx Xx 4x P3 folds
Xx Xx 8x P4 folds
Xx Xx 5x P5 calls $0.20
Xx Xx 9x P6 folds

So straightforward third street, got three wheel cards so no reason to not call the three bet (should we ever be 4-betting here?)

Fourth Street: ($0.80) (3 players)
Xx Xx 5x 4x P5 bets $0.10
3x 4x 2x 6x CanBanditPS calls $0.10
Xx Xx 6x Kx Villain calls $0.10

Fifth Street: ($1.10) (3 players)
3x 4x 2x 6x Kx CanBanditPS checks____CanBanditPS calls $0.20
Xx Xx 6x Kx 3x Villain bets $0.20
Xx Xx 5x 4x 5x P5 calls $0.20

Sixth Street: ($1.70) (3 players)
3x 4x 2x 6x Kx 7x CanBanditPS bets $0.20
Xx Xx 6x Kx 3x 8x Villain raises to $0.40
Xx Xx 5x 4x 5x 9x P5 folds

Ok so I bet Sixth Street with the best hand (7-6) and villain raises. My thought process is that villain very well could have an ace due to the 3rd street raise or even A-2 for the same reasons. There are two dead 5s and we've seen 3 of the 4s so those are unlikely.

Should we be raising in this spot? Although they have a better draw, there are few cards that could improve them based on my thinking correct?

You should definitely raise here. You have the best hand and cards he can conceivably draw to beat you are all somewhat dead. Even if he has a perfect draw you are a strong favorite and should get as much money in as he will let you.

You also have a value raise on Fifth with a third man in the pot. If the third man was in front with a better draw he should be raising himself, and since he didn't you have an easy raise on your own hand's merit. Even if you happen to have a slightly worse draw than the K63, you make money if the third man calls any additional bets, and if he gets out then your chance to win the pot improves with some dead money in the pot, so there are no bad outcomes from raising.

Do you guys know of any good places where I can check equities? I find myself getting a little lost in hands because I don't have any idea what sort of equity I have in a hand (when looking at pot odds and such)

Propokertools dot net is great for razz. You can enter ranges for each hand to compare with the known hand. Like this:
ProPokerTools Razz Simulation
600,000 trials (Randomized)
dead cards: A489
Hand Pot equity Wins Ties
2346K34.11% 203,5562,163
(8-8-5)4K32.90% 194,8795,072
(8-8-54)532.99% 195,3945,121

Incidentally this shows that vs reasonable ranges you have an easy raise on Fifth.

+1. Raise here all day. You have the best low with 1 card to come. Additionally, 2 of the 5s V needs are dead, only one of your As are dead. Get that value dude.

Don't slowplay as you might in stud on 4th street. Force the brick behind you to make a mistake by putting in 2 bets cold. Depending on his cards and the exposed cards, he's likely to be correct to peel for a single bet. Then if he's stubborn, jam him silly.
