Thank you!

Will be there tonight if it is running.

Is it a kill game?
As far as I can tell it starts up around 1 or 1:30 PM and has been going till about 8 or 9 Pm I think.

At times it is short handed with a few house players in it. But from what I've heard the game has been good. Pretty sure it's not a kill game

I played (mostly short-handed) last night from 9pm until it broke at midnight. Very soft game. No kill.

Hi,

Does anyone have any recent info on the stud/8 game at teh Suncoast? I'm going to Vegas in late July-early August and was considering spending a session or two at the Suncoast if a stud/8 game goes. Are there still certain days of the week that the game is spread, or does it go daily? Is that "Hoggie Game" (double qualifier, 2-10/2-20) still around?

Game goes nearly everyday from what I understand at different limits on each day.

I believe that I mentioned this elsewhere, but you do know that your beloved Boulder Station occasionally runs Stud High in the back of the room, complete with ashtrays and oxygen tanks, right?

This may be the only combination that could add a little spark to a stud high ring game.

I highly, highly recommend starting a PLO & PLO/8 mix at your local gambling establishment.

If somebody is from the "Ruhrpott"-Area in Germany, in Hohensyburg (Dortmund) from time to time a 10-40€ spread Limit S/O gets started.

Ill probably speak to a brickwall here, but who knows.

nah Labeurge in BR...

can't really answer your 2nd question as i rarely frequent Harrah's...the weekend 1/2 2/5 games are amazing. I"m sure PLO is spread...it's best to check the Harrah's Nola thread in the Brick and Mortar forum and/or check the Bravo app and take note of what games are running on the nights you'll be there. If you can play on a friday or saturday between the hours of 10pm-4am i suggest you do it.

Yes! Pro tip... when you go to cafe due monde there will be a huge line. You can bypass this by walking to the front and finding a worker and telling them you want to place an order to go. Works every time

If this post is categorized wrong I'm sorry. I posted in my local area brick and mortar thread too. I'm still posting b/c if you are Stud-8 player in NorCal you'd NEVER THINK that this game existed and wouldn't be looking for it and probably really want to play in it. Sorry to interrupt. I don't work for LC. lol

Apparently $4/8 1/2 kill Stud-8 has been actually running on Thursdays, Lucky Chances' Stud double jackpot day.. ($1 ante)
*They added it to the small games board.
*If you're a hardcore Stud specialist I should tell you that the only other Stud game in the house is $2/4 Stud hi ALSO w/ a $1 high ante... pretty unbeatable rake/structure. They always have a Lim H $3/6 and >, $4/8 and/or $6/12 O8... They have lots of $3/5 and $5/10 NLH games and a $1/1/2, $4 to call $200-max too. I bring this up b/c it might not run every Thurs.
*Outside SF in Colma, CA

Thanks again for your time.
Have a fun 1. Hope to see you on the felt.

*I hate my fishy screen name that I picked when I was A TOTAL fish. I am not in fact a troll or poseur.

We have a semi-regular stud 8 game in the Seattle area. It's been a little erratic since the new year, though.

Hideaway Casino, Aurora and 145th, Shoreline (on Seattle's northern border)
Wednesdays, 8:00 pm $6/12, $1 ante, $3 bring in
Do call ahead as it's been inconsistent lately. It did go pretty strong for several hours last week, though.

Question- What is a typical buy in for stud? Is it 20x big bet or is it higher, trying to set my bankroll for an AC trip after Labor Day.
