I play it every week. I won't over the holidays though. It's a mixed bag of players. The game starts earlier every week. This week it started at 11am. It also smashed the record end time. It ran until about 10:15pm. Typically the game breaks about 5pm. As it ran later the game got great because the regs, some of which aren't that good anyway, made way for people that clearly didn't understand the game.

I was at the TAJ in AC Sunday and started a $5/$10 Stud-8 interest list. Within one hour we had a full table and a list. The game went all day full!!

I'd like to give it another try this weekend (and/or any other weekend). Anyone interested and what days would be best for you? (Fri, Sat, Sun).

This past weekend I was at Commerce again, and the 20 game broke at 10:00 on a Friday night . Thankfully there was a decent 30 game going. The prior weekend I was at Foxwoods, and the games were as strong as ever. Hopefully the situation at Commerce is just temporary. Also, was in Vegas middle of last week, and the Wynn was trying to get a 3/6 game going. Bit of a twist as the river went to 6/12 spread limit.

I need to spend a week in Vegas during the first week of January. Does the Bellagio 20 game still go? Any other 20 or 30 games going these days?

You sure do travel a lot from one coast to the other and back! All in the pursuit of stud poker games?

BTW, when Donna Harris (formerly the poker room manager at the Mirage) took over the poker room at the Wynn about two months ago she made it a goal of hers to have some sort of regular stud game there.

The guys at the table were saying the same thing about Donna. Regarding all the travel, no I run a tech company and travel a lot on business. If it turns out that I am on either coast at the back end of the week, then I will try to extend my trip over the weekend. So one air fare gets me a business trip plus some poker as a bonus . With that said, I am starting to be treated as a bit of a regular at both Foxwoods and Commerce.

LOL! I'd bet you may be the only person in America who can claim that distinction.

I've noticed that Canada's population is concentrated close to the US border. Seems kinda pointless to have them be two separate countries, even if Canadians can't pronounce simple words like "house."

Would love the wynn to get a 1-4-4-8 game or any 10-20 or lower stud/8 game going...

I was at the Wynn last night and the game didn't go. Probably hasn't gone in at least a week. I called the Bellagio, and they told me that their game hasnt gone in a month or so. Called a few other rooms, and nothing.

Stud appears next to completely dead in Vegas right now. Anyone know if the Bellagio game picked up and went somewhere else?

Nope. Just walked in and asked and they tell me they never run a stud game.

I think outside of the daily 1-5 Sam's Town and 1-4 Saturday 1-4 at El Cortez you're out of luck on stud hi except for random games that pop up. Stud8 is still twice a week in town. 4/8 Wednesdays and Suncoast and 2-10-20 at Sam's Town on a day that seems to change weekly.

The Sam's Town Stud8 has found a home on Thursdays now. It starts at 3pm.

Was in Vegas last week. Stopped into Venitian, Wynn & Bellagio; no signs of stud/mixed life anywhere on the Strip. Friday evening (~6pm) I called to check on interest and lists hadn't been started yet.

Apparently best bet on the Strip for HORSE remains Venitian; best bet for Stud (below 20/40, at least) is the Wynn, where they sometimes get a $3/6/12 game.

One oddity: on Friday afternoon at the Bellagio, the board listed a $2-10 Seven Card Stud game. When I asked at the main poker desk, the woman told me she that that game was not running, never knew them to spread that game, and had no idea why that was on the board. She sent me to a second poker desk to inquire further. This woman (who had been off the previous three days) was similarly clueless.

Hey guys! Are there any UK casinos that spread stud games regularly? I don't live in london so that'd be difficult but I'll probably visit at some point.

Smaller 15/30£ game is played but not very often
If you just want to play stud, you should try to arrange in advance
In Brighton (60 miles south of London) they used to play Razz PL time ago, not sure if the game still spread
Otherwise you have dealer choice in London (stud games included) but always played PL
