I'm back home after a week in CA. It was nice - I played almost no poker which turned out to be great, saw a few old friends, ate a ton of good food (screw all of you who can trip over sushi and awesome chinese food while you're getting the mail), watched a few movies (one time in a completely empty theater, and another in a nearly empty theater. It felt like being a rich degen, like I just walked in and was like **** YOU I OWN THIS PLACE NOW GET OUT), got a ton of work done.

And slept like a freakin baby. Usually when I go out there I work from 8-5, play poker from like 5:01pm to 2am, try to sleep after being slapped in the face by donks all night and being all hyped up on theobromine and caffeine, having monstrous dreams where I continuously fold 8 high flushes all night long. Usually I make more money out there playing poker than I do working. This time I dropped 40bb in first day, said, **** it, this time I'll do something else than torture myself.

I just doubled up on the second hand of a super turbo flippament and then busted out of another one, apparently thought that was the last hand I had open, got up, then sat back down at my computer and saw I had accidentally sat out for 30 hands of the one I doubled up on, was 90% all-in on the big blind, and then took it down!! It was awesome.
