bleh so I played 2 215 HU sng's against a pretty bad player. Had him down to 250 in the first one, then at blinds 150-300, brought it in 15 straight times with nothing to defend. Second one he hit 7 hands on 7th. my pretty graph isn't as pretty, f my life. /rant

there is a spanish dude who kicked my ass 3 times in 2$ stud8 hu sngs, he will call any hand and he got trips evrey f**** time, i want to kill this SOB (and i dont mean in a poker game). should i complete with any 8 or lower razz hand?(im obv dont do it, i will complete nice connecters and suited, or razz hand with an ace(most of the time showing ace).
god damn it, im so tilting, i cant allow myself to break more things (i just broke my mouse and keyboard)

i've heard stud 8 HU plays a lot more like Stud hi. A pair is usually good, a pair and a low card is very good and a razz hand with an Ace is like the nuts.
But I don't really know anything about HU stud 8 sngs

^ Comments like those are just counterproductive. ^ Learn how to trash talk better or don't do it at all.

Regarding the actual hand:

You should go ahead and bet 4th. You have a draw to a straight, and, despite their being an open pair of 3's, all the A's were still live plus I still think you have enough 'hand' to put in a bet for value, and, you were last to act so the chances for someone to raise you (in this passive line up) were slim.

On 5th, It's pretty close. In a loose game, I would say go ahead and raise here and charge the field to draw. But, in a passive game, and when noones board is looking too threatening...you might want to reconsider raising and go for the overcall.

I try to release the tension with some witty repartee and stun my competitors into silence.

Westleyther: so does a full house beat a flush in razz?
Dealer: Game #24975605542: AA23_double wins pot (7750)
Dealer: ssmith580, it's your turn. You have 12 seconds to act

During current Razz session you were dealt 348 hands and:
- saw fourth street 63 times (18%)
- saw fifth street 40 times (11%)
- saw sixth street 28 times (8%)
- reached showdown 17 times (4%)
Pots won at showdown - 13 of 17 (76%)
Pots won without showdown - 21

Apparently the 5 minute break will start when hands on all tables have been completed. Intersting, as we've had about 20 hands on the final table already.

I have ceased to be surprised by anything I see in a razz game. I got Jennifer Tilly'd again last night, and just had to lol.

On the other "ridiculous" end of tourney knockouts, I once got eliminated from a Razz tourney when my 6-4-3-2-A lost to a wheel...

Not much you can do when that happens.

razitup has blocked himself from every portal of stat tracking... I can tell you he has great results and game selects against almost no one. I can also tell you >90% of the people in the stud forum will call him a donk/spewy/fish/******/*******. I can tell you avoiding him is not a bad idea, but he will not avoid you

And finally I can tell you his results speak for themselves and he is a king at putting in volume, I have played him my fair share, and have come to respect his unorthodox approach to the game

02-16-2009 , 03:14 AM
I have a good record against him which I attribute mainly to the fact that he plays so many games at once and does not adjust to his opponents style which imo is a pretty big losing play. I am sure he is very competent at razz and would probably beat me long term one tabling. But I really want to know what ROI he is coming out with 6-9 tabling.

Ultimate compliment that he declined to play a second match?
