Having recently started playing Razz a lot more recently, I can't fathom why anyone would want to stick to playing full ring.

The action is limited
You hardly get to play any hands
You can't really play more than 2-3 tables due to trying to keep track of discards, and hardly any tables run as everyone seems to want to join the snorefests instead of starting up new tables.

I honestly believe Stars should make moves to include more 4 max and HU tables to stimulate action in this game. FTP currently has HU tables, but I feel 4 max tables should also be included there.


More a rant than a constructive post I'm afraid, but I feel this is a great game when played at a high tempo.

Sorry for trying to get some discussion going around a game that is lucky to see more than 30 people in any one lobby at a time on ftp/stars.

All I'm suggesting is maybe with short handed tables the extra action may entice players to stick around for longer, and people to play more.

i agree to a point, i have much more fun with it when its in a mixed game like horse or 10-game(i think its in FTPs 10 game anyways)

If you're playing on stars, half of me might agree with you. The ante structure is so low at most limits that playing at an 8 player table you'd be wise to stick to ~20% VPIP, which means a ****ton of folding. I'm not sure 4-max is the answer in that no one is used to that table size, but 6-max might be a viable option, and of course HU (for those players who enjoy playing T76).

Of course, the other half of me wants to say +1 to "your mama" given your attitude, but that would be redundantly redundant.
