Played the 20-40 OE at CAZ today. Here's a situation:

HU otr I've got what looks like a rough low while in actuality I've got 2 pair v. a player w/ only an Ace showing that's been betting but checks the river. I bet. Thumbs up? Thumbs down?

Also, some of you may recall that I've avoided the game bec I might get a call to go home. It happened today but thankfully I was only stuck $50 bec I played the horribly boring (to me) 2-3-300, raised pre w/ J-J and made an idiot C-Bet into a Q hi board.

IDK, I'm sort of meh, tbh, seems a bet to me since he's sure to call w/ Aces only but this forum, imo, which has impressed me very much since I've started reading/posting after I took up Stud8 again could use a LC thread and that hand is all I had to work with.

Here's another: Folded around to the player on my right who's waiting for the 40 mix and plays good who completes w/ an Ace, I 2! w/ (A-5)A and it's HU. This is what separates the greats from blehs. His Aces are good, mine might as well just get thrown in the toilet.

I'm thinking keep this thread until 2016 then start another unless Stud variants make a huge comeback. Going to happen any day since MM is pushing it.

Well, first, it's going to be a yearly LC thread judging by the way things are going and, second, I'm hoping that the forum readers start posting LC stories!

Starting chatting at the table then got her number when she got up to leave. Now as some of you are prob aware your not getting a young crowd playing oe...I'm in my early 20's. ok update on my oe playing cougar friend

she texts me this morn seeing if I wanna workout with her, I obliged. I take her thru a excellent leg workout, which btw is a GTO workout when exercising with a female . Anyways a little into the workout she starts asking me strat questions lol like starting hands in o8 and my advice on some hands she played. Ive been played guys. Here I was thinking she liked me for my gorgeous looks or bc my body reassembles a hellenistic statue from ancient greece, no. So like any true hustla I don't divulge into my secrets. I tell her luck wasnt on her side lol. For example she chased a 7 low in stud8 when it was pretty clear she was up against two made lows already. I say "ahhh what are you gunna do" lol. smh broads

She was kinky. While the 'Son of Sam' was loose and murdering people parked at lover's lanes she INSISTED on going to the local one. I was terrified and kept my head up looking out the windows the entire time.

From tonight's 6-12 OE: Some cards are marked, we need a set-up. Old (and from me that really means old) guy says 'It's because of the shuffler. We use one in our home game and it happens sometimes.' Me: 'If you don't mind telling me, what do you play?' Him: 'We play Hold 'Em, $5,000 BI, we each ante $100, no blinds, and the max bet is $5K. I lost $35K this week.
