Hi guys,
I'm really struggling with Stud Hi, it's by far my worst game from the 8 game mix as you can see from my graph(pretty small sample I know but getting a lot of hands is kinda hard in a mixed game). I have 2 questions:

1. Does anyone know a good course that teaches a good solid overall strategy that's not too expensive? Something like the upswing basic course but for stud

2. What does a good winning stud graph look like in terms of red and blue line?

In that order.
These books combined should give you a solid base to start from.

Thanks.

In the meantime here's one tip for third street I found online.

Don't Play every three flush in every situation. Fold the hand for a bet if more than two of your suit are out in other peoples hands.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm gonna look that up.

Have enjoyed your RIO stream btw!

Thanks for the tip, I think I saw this somewhere aswell but I think in practise I probably overplay three flushes.

Do you also fold in this situation if in addition to the fd you have an open ender, gutshot or good high cards?
Where do you draw the line to call despite the rule?

Seems to me like folding an open ender has to be wrong, 2 high cards also seems nitty,
maybe start folding a gutter there?

On 3rd you can't have an open ender. If you have an open ender and 3 flush on 4th, you are probably going to chase if your straight cards are live. But it depends if you think your straight is going to be good. If it looks like you could be up against a flush or bigger straight, you have to let it go. Same goes with the high cards. It is going to depend if pairing one of them would put you in the lead or if it would make you 2nd or 3rd best. It does no good to make KK when you are up against probable AA. KK loses to AA the same way 33, 22, and any other pair does.

Personally, I like chasing the flush and seeing what develops. If I get a 4 flush, I'm generally going to take it to the end unless I may be up against a higher flush or if a scary open pair is made (door card on a raised 3rd street). That's just me though...
