No thread for him? I'm disappoint. Always good to see an one of the best at the game win a bracelet. Congrats man!

Disappointment easily solved with the few clicks on a keyboard!
Congrats to him! I don't recognize the name or the 2+2 username though

@camz2895 Thanks for the shoutout!
When you make it deep in an event they give you this sheet to fill out where you tell a little bit about yourself. All I wrote was the following (verbatim):
“Shoutouts to the 2+2 Stud Forum and the online Razz cohort, the Silicon Valley VC Poker Group, David Sklansky’s seminal masterpiece Sklansky on Razz, and to barryg1 [@barryg1] for inspiring me when I was down to 3.5 BB’s.”
I asked them to put that in the article, but they didn’t and instead put in some quotes that make me sound like an idiot along with a really bad picture of me, lol. I went to Vegas randomly on a whim, and it was obviously awesome taking down the one tourney I planned on playing. I’d been out of the poker world for years, and it was really nice meeting/reconnecting with a lot of friends in years, including some old school online Razz players and people from this forum including @RustyBrooks, @Joe Tall, @SGSpecial, @skoldpadda, and Razz superfish @oscillator. It was pretty cool being at the final table for the Razz event at the same time @oscillator was at the final table next to me for the 10K PLO event. I wasn’t able to say hi to @DeathDonkey but railed him for a bit. I saw @electrical a few days ago for the first time in 10 years and congratulated him on his bracelet win (last year’s Stud Hi).
This year’s Razz event starts in a couple hours. Let’s see if I can defend! Let me know if you’re playing the event and/or want to hang out if you’re in Vegas.

Forgot to mention @ChipsAhoya He was bulldozing over my table (chip leader). He played really well except the one hand against me where he was on his phone and didn't notice that I caught a 3 which was dead preflop but happened to pair me. He was on his phone. Wouldn't have folded anyway. What a fish.
