If the answer is no, maybe post it depend on how pissed off you are, but probably shouldn't.

Demerit would probably be a better term than infraction, but I didn't write the software. You want I should give you an infraction just to prove that I can do it?

Yes, please, and if it's not too much bother, could I have my title changed from "Pooh-Bah" to "Infracted?"

If losing to someone who has 20% equity is sick enough for you to post it in the forum, yes, you should play more hands.

I think all bad beat posts should be deleted unless they are 2% or worse. Just my opinion. More of them would be worth looking at.

skoldpadda came to chicago on business this weekend and we hung out the majority of saturday. i met him at a restaurant co-owned by one of his friends named 'big jones', which had, imo, a fairly inaccessible menu in regards to your average diner, but you wouldnt know given the copious amounts of it i ate. everything i tasted was exquisite, and in light of the rigid dietary changes ive made in more recent days ( which allows a solid cheat meal a week ) nothing went unappreciated.

there was a refined version of chicken tenders served on a bed of butter lettuce, accompanied by an assortment of veg, and finished with a light vinaigrette. a hearts of palm salad which deviated from the obvious, and featured instead roasted pineapple, beans, nuts, and a peanut dressing. the entree was a ny strip, stripped, served with fried mash, mushroom, and a super reduced red wine jus....delicious! i ordered a trio of desserts to sample ( velvet cake, bread pudding, and mud pie with toasted marshmallows ) to finish. all very tasty! cant wait to go back!

did i mention that mother ****er ate sushi before meeting me for dinner? he politely acquiesced to my food rape and sampled the things i ordered, while providing entertaining banter as i gorged. girl talk clearly.

we headed off to electrical's studio just in time for the madonna truth or dare pj party. i went snoopy, electrical sported a sparkling pink snuggie, and sp surprised us all by wearing long-johns with "touched for the very first time" custom printed across the front. we basically studio-hopped for 90 minutes or so alongside engineers and various members of bands, all busy making out with each other, or in some advanced stage of foreplay, grapes and dessert items strewn liberally across the floor and jammed in the crevices of furniture. at one point bacon, one of elec's cats, hopped off the piano stool right into a mixing bowl full of whipped topping...we all laughed.

the idea of trading lego pieces came up, but everyone decided to ignore me...it was getting late anyhow. padda saw that i made it home safely and went on his way. i got home and immediately felt like crap both because i ate a ton of food that my body isnt accustomed to, and also because i shouldve accepted *censored* from that hot bassist instead of opting out just because i didnt want to get involved while her tech *censored* her with a beetroot. i went outside and did mountain climbers, high knees, jump rope, and other various two worded exercises prior to going for a good run until all remorse was sweated from my system.

really fun time sp, thanks a ton! electrical youre ****ing sick...seriously...whats your problem!?

you're doing it wrong.

And way to make a meal sound so mother****ing gourmet that I almost search for this restaurant, only to realize that you're clever verbage made a restaurant that as far as I know, (apologizes skolpadda because I'm sure the restaurant is greate) is equivalent to Applebees, sound like it's motherucking Robuchon.

P.S. Hope you all had a great time!

omg, getting called out on the sushi in LC... a new low of embarrassment for me. Thanks for the tr re: elec's party; after you slipped me those roofies, the last thing I remember was your jumping on the bar at the restaurant and slurping jello shots off of that bald guy's head.

Sorry chips, all photos have been mysteriously deleted from my phone.

Can I put High Stakes poker player on my resume?
03-28-2010 , 03:07 PM
You can, but it probably wouldn't be a good idea. Some folks will pass judgment on you for being a degenerate gambler. Others will want to engage you in conversations you don't want to have about a tournament that they played in some dive bar. I think that I've hurt myself in some interviews because it's pretty obvious that I'm more enthusiastic about music, for example, than I am about the stuff that people pay me to do.
