BRM for stud hi lo

how many BB should i have for stud hi lo?
is 25 bb x 5 buy ins ok? not enough?? too much???

forget about buy ins. its fl, a number described only by BB should be enough.

im not that much into stud8, but i would 200-300BB for a start.

There's such a discrepancy in the amounts you're both saying that I wonder whether you're talking about two different things. I did notice that the title of the thread is BRM, but you couldn't really think 25bb is a bankroll, could you? I wonder if the op is asking about the amount to take to the table. The reply relates to the total bankroll.

I'm reading this as he's suggesting 5 buy-ins of 25 BB each, for a total of 125 BB, so it's not like they're off by orders of magnitude. If you have a skid of 125 BB in stud/8, it's highly likely that you are being outplayed.
