Any Stud 8 cash games in Vegas this summer?

Last summer when I was in Vegas during the WSOP there was a $50/100 Stud 8 (or OE) game running basically every day at the Rio. According to Bravo, though, it hasn't run yet since the series began. Does anyone know if there are any games anywhere else? I'd like to stay for a while soon to play this game (in a mix is fine), and you'd like that too (since I am a reliable donator), but I'm not sure if I'll make the trip this year if the game (or one like it) isn't around... Any pointers? Where should I stay to play this? Thanks in advance.

my own tl;dr: It seems doubtful those games will go but a lot of the players may be in the mixed games at the Bellagio. But I could be misreading so read it for yourself.

There's an effort to get a 30-60 (or 50-100) stud/8 game going at the Bellagio.

David Singer has told me he's still going to try to get the 50-100 game going at the Rio.

they reduced the rake to 12/down

Singer has tried to start the game Monday at the Bellagio at 3 pm, but no one showed up.

He's told me he'll try and get it to run Tuesday at the rio, but i don't see it happening either at this rate since I only see 2 names on the 50-1 s8 wait list and it's already 3 pm.

i also see a waitlist of 5 ppl atm for a 30-60 s8 at the Bellagio.

There's been a lot of other ppl who are wanting to play this game, but there's a communication issue, so they probably end up playing/doing something else.

if anyone wants this game to run, there should probably be a roll call and i think this thread is a good place to start one.

This game has been reliable and profitable for years. I think we're seeing the beginning of the end...

From Bravo I get the sense the WSOP screwed up bigly and dispersed a lot of these games. Problem with getting stud 8 at the Bellagio is going to be that they're filling up tables so by the time your waiting list fills there are no tables left. If 4 of you show up at 10 am each morning and offer to grind 30/60 stud 8 shorthanded until the game gets full, I'm pretty sure it will become stable.

I'd play this for a little while if I'm not running too bad earlier in my trip.
