7 Stud 3rd Street strategy

In 7 card stud for high, what is the best strategy on 3rd street for playing a high pocket pair (let’s say it’s the highest card on the board) when both of your pair cards are dead, e.g. you have split K’s and both other K’s are showing.
I would raise if I can iso and get heads up; but if you can’t substantially narrow the field, is it better just to open fold?

Raise for value because you can trade money for goods and services

if you have say 3KK and the other Ks are out in the open, it also means they are far less likely to call your open. additionally, should they call your open it means they have a lot less options to improve to beat you.
