3rd Street Decision (10/20 live stud8)

$10/$20 stud8 home game. It's played 9 handed, and with blinds of $5/$10 in lieu of antes/bring in. (So 3rd street is played just like pre-flop in a flop game. From 4th street on, it's the normal stud betting order.)

Spewy, aggro, tilted player opens utg+1 to $20 with 3. I'm next to act with J(A7). Remaining up cards are one king, then all low to middle cards. There is one other spade up.

Do you fold or call here? Or possibly 3-bet? (In this game, it will be expected that at least two other players will call the $20 if we call.) Thanks.

Call. Take one off on 4th unless you hit a fourth spade, then start jamming.

I'd at least call, it's possible you could 3-bet based on the game conditions.

No sir. This is all mine. And you should see what happens in the O8 and hold em rounds.

Incidentally, this hand ended up getting capped at $40, five ways. I caught two bricks and folded on fifth.
