1-5 Spread Stud High - Villian very loose on 3rd

I've started playing Saturday mornings at Majestic Star in Gary, IN at the 1-5 Spread game. Definitely not playing for the $$, rather because I've always enjoyed stud.
I'm looking for some thoughts, strategies when playing this spread game. Very high ante's ($1), $1 bring in up to $5, Caps at 4 raises.
There's a guy in the game who plays very loose, and raises 50%+ of his hands to $3 on 3rd. He does this on his bring-in's about 10% as well.
My thoughts:
When I have direct position on him, I re-raise all my premiums (watching for dead flush, dead straight cards), and re-raise any wired pair when I'm showing an over card (that isn't 2 dead). I'm re-raising to get him heads up is my thinking.
My question is my call range is based on having many callers (which is fine), but should I be more aggressive on the call range since there is so much dead ante money in there too? Most players here tend to call 2 streets before a fold button shows up.
Thoughts? Sorry if this is poorly written, etc. I haven't really posted something so abstract before.

Stick to your standards.
I would play low pairs, especially hidden for a call if live and will induce others in.
I wouldn't call with something like A-J hidden and 7 up, two suited.

high ante and high rake you need to build your pots to get over the rake cap in the hands. otherwise you are just moving your money to the house.
