What do yall think the action will be like this weekend?? Might go to Durant instead tho... I see Foreigner is playing there tomorrow night; thats sure to bring out some dumbasses

fyi , ate the buffet for lunch yesterday, it's not terrible. variety of average quality food. i like having another food option.

On a day to day basis, the action will always be better elsewhere than Durrant.

Some special events may change things for a week or three but in the end, the best location with the best dealers with the best run room will get the best action.

This is true of any city or location you care to name.

It is true that a $500 splashpot was done every 30 min last year, don't know when the next $500 splashpot day is yet. Many huge pots were won, many players were busted trying to win them.

Average weekday: 2-3 4/8LHE, 5-10 1/2NLHE, 3-5 2/5 NLHE, 1 5/10 NLHE
Average Fri-Sat : 4-8 4/8LHE, 1-2 4/8LO8, 12-20 1/2NLHE, 5-10 2/5NLHE, 1-2 2/5PLO, 2-3 5/10NLHE

Tuesdays and Thursdays have more 4/8LHE and 1/2NLHE due to the Aces Cracked promotion on those days.
Wednesday is the slowest day of the week for the smaller games. 2/5 and 5/10 run the same number of games fairly consistently on weekdays regardless of promos.
Fridays fill up later in the evening.
Sundays are busier during the day and become similar to an average weekday evening later on.

Yeah the action should pick up now that the holidays are coming around. I am expecting a full room, endless list, noise, applauding, and heartbreak all day and night on the weekends now.

As for food, the new NYC burger place is money. Oh and be sure to take advantage of the comps the poker room offers. $8.80 for food every eight hours. and you can get your first one right when you sit down. Good at any restaurant. It's no rake back, but its still pretty sweet.

Thoughts on traffic this weekend, specifically Thursday night, Friday night, and all day Saturday?

It will suck all of those days if you are coming from TX.

Yes, and Oklahoma always sucks. I mean traffic in the poker room.

Room will be packed as always, probably even more so

Saturday, Christmas Day, will be slow.

Damn I had a fun and crazy gamble up 1/2 table today, weekend is going to be huge, no one is saying but surely they will splash on New Years Day

Any predictions on how the action will be this weekend with Durant running their WSOP Circuit Main Event? This is a much shorter drive and the Choctaw cash games were a mad house last time I was up for the series.

What are the breakdowns on days and hours the promos run? It's splash pot on Monday and Wednesday and Aces Cracked on Tuesday and Thursday, right?
