- RAKE ( not really clear on how it works and if Winstar has it's own special policy. Is this the same thing as the $1 commission I hear they take or no? )
rake is maximum of 5 dollars per pot + 1 dollar

- WAITING LIST ( I know you have to sign up to sit at a table but again I've never been to any casino so not quite sure on all the details )
you tell the people at the big desk in front of the poker room what game you want to play, and they'll either seat you, or put you on the list. you can't miss it

- MONEY/CHIP EXCHANGE ( Don't know what else to call it haha. Will they accept cash to pay for chips or only debit/credit? Also kinda unsure on how that works as well )
Once you get to your table, just take out cash and tell the dealer how much you are buying in for, they'll call a chip runner for you and have your chips brought to you. you could also get your own chips if you prefer at the cashier at the back of the poker room. first option is obv more convenient

- ANYTHING ELSE ( Any info that you think would be helpful to me since it will be my first ever trip to Winstar or to a casino for that matter. I'm pretty clueless since I've never played apart from home games and such )
The poker room has a separate entrance, its on the far right side of the casino. Don't be afraid of ask questions about rules. every poker room has their own unique set of rules (for example at winstar, anything in your hand that you bring across the betting line has to stay. so you cant grab a stack of 50 in your hand and only drop off 35 as a bet)
Also, when you get to the front desk, ask them to make a players card for you. when you get a seat, drop your card off at the desk, and pick it up later when you want to eat. they will put 8.80 on it for you to spend on food
have fun!
