5/10 is 2 or 3 tables on Friday and Saturday. And 1 table usually other days, maybe doesn't go on Monday and Tuesday. 500-2k buy-in.

2/5 is only 300-500 buy-in. No match or percentage of big stack. 500 max.

For what it's worth they had $160s going pretty solid through evening tonight. They pay $500 to top 3 rather than $1500 to the winner which is interesting

I'm stupid. Couldn't really tell when the start times are for these listed $60 "Single Table Satellites" are so I just assumed that they fill up all day? Usually just a weekend thing? Any info on these games would be cool if you've played 'em. Tried calling the poker room repeatedly and couldn't get anyone. Thanks.

yeah they will have waitlists for the STS and you get on and they will run them when they have enough names and a dealer. They usually are spotty during the week until right before the series/Main Event. Weekends usually are good.

I am playing the Friday night super and Sunday mega this weekend, will report back on STS frequency also.

What is the resale market for lammers like? I'll be back in the area next weekend and would like to grind some more sats/megas but likely won't be able to play the main.

Is anyone on here interested in buying at a slight discount?

Went today. They said pretty much non of the $60-$70 satellites have been successful even on the weekends. Unless they were just trying to encourage me to enter the higher ones, not sure they'd care. There was one guy listed one name "Interested" in the "70-70" whatever that is.

The $60 have almost never run. Interest in them is near 0. $130 go off occasionally with the $160 being most common.

If you are able to get there early, there will almost always be one and sometimes two before every megas. Should be one or two around 9 or 10am. Good luck.

I played 1/3 at Winstar today. When I got there (about 1pm) there was 53 names on the 1/3 list (even more on the 1/2 nl). They are running their big "The River" tourney series this weekend. Over 40 tables of cash games and they were all full. They even had 20-40 nl (never seen that run there before), and they announced a 100-200 plo game although I don't know if it was actually running. These big games are not the norm at Winstar.

Any thoughts on things to do while near winstar, like nearby state parks, scenic drives or overlooks or other points of interest or even just unique and tasty places to eat, or perhaps not-so-well-known things to do inside the casino itself?

Johnson Branch state park on Lake Ray Roberts has some nice trails too. It's not too far south, you exit off of I-35 in Valley View. They have a pretty extensive mountain biking trail system that you can hike or bike. Trails likely to be closed this weekend though, depending on how much rain we end up getting today.
